Delivery & Postage

DELIVERY:
We usually despatch orders within 24-48 hours of payment, however we do ask for a 3 working day lead time in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Standard delivery within the UK is offered via Royal Mail's 1st Class Delivery system, for which proof of postage is always retained in the rare case of lost mail. However for peace of mind we also offer delivery via Royal Mail's Recorded Delivery system, which allows a web based 'Track & Trace' function via each item's unique 13 digit reference number. For further details, see the Royal Mails Website. If an item cannot be signed for (say, for example, nobody is in at the time of delivery) you will be left a note by the postman for collection from your local sorting office. Any items not collected after a couple of weeks are returned to us and are subject to a redelivery fee.

Overseas delivery is provided, virtually anywhere in the world, by Royal Mail's 'Airmail' service. This aims to deliver to European destinations within five working days and worldwide within ten. Please note that the only form of tracking this service affords us is a 'Certificate of Posting' from the Post Office in the UK. Any domestic handling is then undertaken by your country's own mailing system. We do offer further optional insurance for the arrival of your item via Royal Mail's 'International Signed For' service, which takes a signature at the point of delivery.

* UK: 1-3 Working Days (Depending on the delivery method you choose during checkout)
* Europe: Approx 5-10 Working Days
* United States & Canada: Approx 10-15 Working Days
* Australia,Japan & the rest of the world: Approx 10-20 Working Days

COMBINED POSTAGE DISCOUNTS:

We always try to combine multiple purchases to reduce the postal cost. However the ebay postage system is hard to understand and use. It is advisable to contact us direct before purchase to gain a postage quote, however if you do overpay on postage we are a responsible retailer and we always refund you.

As a rule combined postage is worked out by taking the most expensive postal item ordered and then 50p per additional item. This can differ depending on what items you have ordered (either up or down), so please if you have any queries about combined postage please contact us direct at thefootiestore@btinternet.com or through the ebay messaging service.
