N.B. As stated in every listing by committing to buy you accept and acknowledge that you have read and accept these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
Discount Policy
With effect from 11/8/2012 until further notice, we offer 10% discount on all purchases of 3 items or more made at the same time (or within 7 days) and invoiced together. (N.B. Multiples e.g. "save X2!" count as one item). Discount must be CLAIMED BEFORE PAYMENT by way of eBay member to member message or by a note on "request total from seller" saying you wish to claim your 10% discount.
Do NOT attach a note to the Payment as this would not be claiming before payment is made and I might not see it.
Discount will be given AFTER payment of the full amount has been made by way of Paypal refund, or for UK Buyers paying by Postal Order deduct 10% from the Postal Order amount.
If you have already paid for some of your items but not others when you claim no discount will be given on the items already paid for. Discount will only be granted on items which you have committed to buy but are unpaid at the time you request discount.
No claims for discount will be considered after payment if no request has been made prior to payment.
Postage/Shipping Policy
We offer free postage for items despatched within the UK. All items are despatched by 1st Class post. We may at our own discretion send high value packages by Recorded Delivery or courier. There will be no extra charge for this. Lower value packages will only be sent by a tracked service if this is specifically requested by the buyer PRIOR to payment and the cost of this will be passed on.
Please note that any taxes levied by Customs or brokerage fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
Payment Terms
We require payment within 7 days. If there is a problem please contact us to advise and we may at our own discretion allow longer. If no contact is made we will unfortunately be left with no choice but to instigate Ebay's unpaid item process.
N.B. We regret we can only accept Paypal in payment for overseas transactions.
Cancellation of orders
Requests to cancel an order will be granted prior to dispatch if you have changed your mind or bought the wrong product or for any other reason. However, if payment has already been made and administration charge of 20 pence (£0.20) per item will be made to cover our time in handling the refund.
Returns
Returns are accepted on all items at the buyers expense unless the product(s) are not as described or are faulty in which case return postage will also be paid. Refund will be made on return of the goods. We do NOT refund for items not as described if you have not read the listing properly. (e.g. thinking you're buying a full size product when it is clearly stated TRIAL size in the listing). ALL RETURN CASES MUST BE MANAGED THROUGH EBAY'S RETURN ITEM PROCESS.
Postal/Shipping Problems
Very Important For items that do not arrive. We always keep proof of posting. We will make a full refund for the item but only after a period of 15 working days has elapsed from the last date that the item should have been delivered. Overseas items can take up to a month to be delivered. Working days do NOT inlcude Saturdays, Sundays or Bank holidays. This is in line with Royal Mail policy and whilst we understand it is frustrating to be waiting for an item the situation is beyond our control and we have to give the Royal Mail every chance to deliver before we can make a claim against them.
We are committed to ensuring eBay remains a safe place to trade for both buyers and sellers therefore, we keep records of every claim of non-receipt, including the name and address of the person/place to which the item was sent, THIS INFORMATION MAY BE SHARED WITH OTHER SELLERS ON EBAY FOR FRAUD PREVENTION PURPOSES. If we suspect fraud we always report to Ebay and if Item not received fraud is proven we ALWAYS report to the Police at Actionfraud.org.uk which is a service set up by the Police specifically for dealing with internet fraud.
WE REQUIRE THAT A CASE IS OPENED IN EBAY'S OR PAYPAL's RESOLUTION CENTRE AFTER THE REQUIRED 15 DAYS FOR ALL CLAIMS. THIS IS SO THAT EBAY (who also own Paypal) CAN MONITOR FOR PATTERNS OF ABUSE OF THE BUYER PROTECTION SCHEME AND FOR FRAUDULENT CLAIMS.
No claims for non-receipt will be considered if a case has not been opened in the resolution centre within 45 days (in line with eBay policy).
All items are quality checked before despatch so for items that arrive damaged in the post we will issue a refund once you have emailed a photo of the damaged goods together with the packaging. We may at our own discretion require you to return the goods to us so we can claim against Royal Mail.
For items that are returned to us because they have not been called for or were undeliverable, we keep a register of returns and will await contact from the buyer so we can identify the order. If no contact is made with 30 days the items will be unpackaged and destroyed or given to charity. If the package is to be resent to the original buyer postage/shipping costs will ebcome payable.
ADDITIONAL TERMS FOR ORDERS FROM MAURITIUS
In view of the extraordinarliy high number of items that "go missing" in the post to Mauritius a lot of eBay traders in the UK have ceased trading there.
The Ding Dong Bazaar Ltd is committed to a fair and equal market place for everyone, however, these additional terms will apply to any orders from Mauritius.
All orders will be dispatched as usual, however, ANY claim for non-receipt will result in the individual user being blocked, which will mean they are no longer able to trade with the Ding Dong Bazaar Ltd. The block will only be removed if the buyer agrees, and pays for any future orders to be sent by Royal Mail International Signed for, the current price of which is £6.00 in addition to standard shipping costs.
Use of Information/Data
We keep data and information about you for 6 years following a purchase to comply with tax requirements.
Infomation may be used to contact you in the future about products or offers which may be of interest to you. If you do NOT want to be kept informed please be kind enough to send a member to member message and we will not contact you. N.B. WE will not contact you indiscriminately and we will not spam you with junk mailings. We will ONLY contact you if we feel the offer/product is relevant and this will be done infrequently.
