Tesco Outlet is wholly owned and managed by Tesco Stores Ltd but operates independently, meaning we are able to offer products that are not available in store.
What can I buy?
At Tesco Outlet you can purchase new and refurbished items. All items are sold with a 12 month Tesco Outlet Warranty. The new items are products that were previously available through Tesco stores or Tesco Direct but have now been discontinued. They come complete with all the necessary parts and accessories and are still in their original packaging. In some instances the packaging may be damaged, but don't let that put you off! The product inside will be pristine. Refurbished items may or may not be in its original packaging, Even if supplied in original packaging this may be marked and alternative packaging material may be used for internal packaging.
The refurbished items are customer returns. A large proportion of these items have never been used. They might, for example, be unwanted gifts or products customers have simply changed their mind about, which have then been returned to us. They have been checked, inspected, repaired (if necessary), graded and reboxed complete with all accessories. All refurbished items will be clearly marked in the description.
These offer excellent value for money along with the reassurance that they are supported by a full 12 month Tesco Outlet Warranty.
How can I pay?
Payment can only be made by PayPal. To ensure your purchase is protected it will only be delivered to your registered PayPal address. Payment on 'Buy It Now' purchases must be made immediately. Once your payment has been received we will send you a confirmation email and your purchase will be supported by a VAT invoice. Our listed prices include VAT at the standard rate. Clubcard points are not collectable or redeemable on purchases from Tesco Outlet.
When will I get my delivery?
Orders will be despatched via Royal Mail, Hermes or Parcel Force in most cases. Most items will be sent out the next working day but we aim to despatch all orders within 2 working days of cleared funds. Parcel Force deliveries MUST be signed for.
How do I check the status of my order?
You can keep track of your order on the internet using the details we provide in your initial confirmation email. We will send out additional emails to let you know how your order is progressing.
As Tesco stores do not sell the same product range as Tesco Outlet, items purchased from Tesco Outlet can not be returned in our stores.
Under our Tesco Outlet eBay Refund Policy, you have 30 days to return a product to us, providing it is unused and in a saleable condition for a full refund. Where a product is faulty, damaged or described incorrectly we will refund the original delivery charge, but not when a product is simply unwanted*.
*This policy does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or described goods, or your right to cancel orders under the Distance Selling Regulations.
We only accept returns of items that are in the same physical condition as they were supplied. You must also have taken reasonable care to not mark or damage the product. If trying on items with health or hygiene sensitivities, such as underwear or swimming costumes, please do so over other clothes. In the case of goods such as earrings, body jewellery & personal grooming products that have hygiene seals, you must exercise reasonable care by not removing the seals when examining them. All returned items will be inspected upon receipt. If there is evidence that the products are not in the same physical state and reasonable care has not been taken with them, then unfortunately you will not be eligible for a repair or refund.
If your item develops a fault please notify us via my eBay.
If the fault has developed within 30 days of delivery we will offer a refund, including postage costs or a replacement product once the original product has been returned to the Tesco Outlet team for assessment and verification of the fault.
If the fault develops after 30 days but within the 12 month warranty period please contact us via my eBay. We will arrange a prompt repair. If a repair is not possible we will arrange a replacement (stock permitting) or a refund once the original product has been returned to the Tesco Outlet team for assessment and verification of the fault. The Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and insurance.
If a product is returned as faulty but not found to have a manufacturing fault or if a fault has developed as a result of misuse, no product or postage costs will be refunded.
Our stores and helplines are not able to assist with Tesco Outlet queries but our dedicated Tesco Outlet team have been specially trained to assist with any enquiries you may have. They are available to assist you from 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday (excludes bank holidays) and can be contacted via my eBay.
