These Terms & Conditions have been reviewed and approved by
Lancashire County Council Trading Standards
After purchase your item will be dispatched with a courier at the standard rate indicated in the Postage and Packing section of the advert. A domestic handling time of 1 working day applies to all orders placed from the point of payment (this excludes Pre Season Orders where a shipping date will appear in the advert). Where a non mainland UK address is supplied, you will be informed of the required surcharge payment and our domestic handling time will begin upon receipt of that surcharge. Please be aware that owing to the volume of dispatches that we deal with on a daily basis it is not possible to deliver to an address other than the one specified on your ebay account. Tentastic Ltd shall not be responsible for extra charges incurred should customers have to arrange redelivery.
We will endeavour to deliver to the UK mainland within 3 working days (excluding weekends & public holidays) of payment and completion of your order; however, delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. Tentastic Limited shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver within estimated timescales beyond our control.
An email is sent to you at the point of shipment, if you have not received your item within 3 working days of this e-mail, please notify us by email to sales@tentastic.co.uk
All items delivered require a signature. If a signature is obtained from any person other than the named customer at the specified delivery address, the named customer is still responsible for the item and any charges associated with it. Please be aware that it is the responsibility of the customer to supply the correct delivery address on their accounts when the purchase is made. Tentastic Ltd can not accept any liability for loss of items if an incorrect delivery address is provided by the customer.
Shipping costs will vary according to size, weight and location. Please check shipping costs prior to placing an order as by doing so you agree to be bound by them. Please note that we don't ship to BFPO addresses.
When you receive your item/s from our courier it is essential to check the packaging of your goods BEFORE signing the delivery note. If you have received a package that is damaged, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you sign the delivery note as "damaged" and notify us of this damage within 24 hours, by telephone or email, of receipt. You must also make sure that you contact us within 24hrs if the product itself has any courier damage, by emailing sales@tentastic.co.uk or calling us on 01772 705070.
This is because the courier will not accept insurance claims for damaged packaging and goods if they have obtained a clean signature, or if they have not been notified within 24 hours of delivery. As a result we would appreciate your assistance on this matter. In this instance we will then arrange the item to be collected and replaced within the usual timeframe as indicated in the terms of delivery. Nothing in these terms and conditions will reduce your statutory rights in relation to faulty or mis-described goods. (see Returns, Cancellations & Substitutions for more information).
If you have not received your item 3 working days after receiving confirmation of your item being dispatched, you should notify us on the 4th working day by email or telephone. If the courier has attempted to deliver your item and has left a card you must contact the couriers direct within the timescale stated. If we have had an item returned back to us due to non communication on your part or supplying an incorrect delivery address, you will be responsible for all shipping costs.
Tentastic Ltd is unfortunately unable to offer a collection facility as our dispatch facility is no longer at the same location as our offices, therefore shipping charges will apply in all cases.
- Returns, Cancellations & Substitutions
If you change your mind after ordering a fixed priced item you have a right to cancel your order within seven days and receive a full refund for the product. This seven day period will begin on the day you receive the fixed price item. In order to return the item/s, you must take reasonable care of the item/s and it must be returned in re-sellable condition. In this instance, you will be responsible for the shipping costs both to and from your address. In order to cancel your order you must advise us by email to sales@tentastic.co.uk . Items won on an auction are non-refundable.
If you have received a faulty or incorrect item, you must notify us a within reasonable time of the fault becoming apparent, we will then arrange to collect and replace the item within the usual timescales as indicated in the terms of delivery. You will not be responsible for the shipping costs of goods supplied by Tentastic Ltd where a breach in the Sale of Goods Act has been made.
All items must be returned packaged. Our couriers will not collect unpackaged items. If the return is due to the consumer exercising their right to cancellation (as above) the item must be returned in its original packaging.
The postage is not refundable for any item that has been returned to us due to customers not being at home and a shipping charge will be required if the customer requires the product to be resent.
While we try and ensure that all prices are accurate, errors may rarely occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of continuing with your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled.
All prices include VAT at the applicable current rates but exclude delivery charges.
No item will be dispatched until full payment has been received and cleared by the bank. Please note that personal and business cheques are not accepted but please feel free to contact Customer Services on 01772 705070 to pay with a debit or credit card.
Please note that from January 18th 2008 due to a change in eBay policy, items won by one day auction can only be paid for using the paypal system.
We offer a 12 month RTB (Return to Base) warranty on all of our fixed price items, which includes parts and labour. This warranty covers manufactured defects but does not include wear and tear or misuse and abuse. If we cannot repair your item we will replace it with an item of equal or greater specification or provide appropriate recompense. In order to process your warranty claim we will require proof of purchase. If the fault is deemed due to wear and tear or misuse or abuse, the consumer will be responsible for all shipping costs involved.
For International orders, Customs departments will randomly select packages, which they will open and check. Although this does not happen often, they will occasionally open interior packaging. We cannot accept responsibility for these occurrences as Customs procedures are outside our control.
Pictures are for illustration purposes only and products may occasionally vary in size, shape or colour.
Whilst we do our best to ensure that stocks of products are available there may be occasions where broken or damaged stock prevents us from fulfilling an order. In such instances you will be given the choice to wait for stock to arrive or be given a full refund. In the event that we can't get in touch with the customer, a refund will be provided and confirmation of this sent out via email.
