Ink Tattoos
-
Clean the skin, making sure it is lotion free and dry.
-
Remove the backing from the stencil and carefully stick the stencil to the skin. Keep the backing to one side so that you can put the stencil back once you have created a tattoo.
-
If using a 3 part stencil then remove the top layer and again keep for future use.
-
If using a Sparkle Dauber/Small Tattoo Blue just take the top off and it’s ready for use. If using the larger Ink Daubers then unscrew the bottom off the dauber and remove the ink refill tube. Carefully squeeze a small amount of ink onto the sponge tip.
-
Lightly tap / dab the sponge tip over the design area. Use 2 or 3 colours for great effects. Apply the lightest colour first for best results.
-
Gently remove the stencil and replace on the backing sheet. Use a damp cloth to remove excess ink from the stencil. Put back the top layer sheet if using a 3 part stencil.
-
The Ink will dry in about 2 minutes

How to look after your tattoo.
All tattoos should last for 3 to 5 days. Rubbing by clothes will reduce the life of your tattoo. Avoid excessive rubbing especially when wet. For best results avoid skin areas with excessive hair. Before using make sure the skin area is free from any cream & lotions (includes sun cream). To remove tattoo wash with warm soapy water . Clean brushes using warm soapy water and leave to dry.
Traditional Tattoo Transfers:
- Skin must be clean and free of oils & make-up
- Remove the clear, protective top sheet
- Press tattoo firmly onto clean, dry skin with the design facing down
- Hold wet cloth against back of tattoo, press down and make sure you wet it thoroughly
- Wait approx. 30 seconds (don't hurry) and peel off the paper backing
- Gently rinse image with water for the best effect, make sure you don't rub when drying as this might damage the design
You can also use in exactly the same way to decorate furniture, wood, plaster & ceramics!! You can apply a coat of varnish to give it a lasting finish if needed.
To remove:
- Saturate the tattoo with baby oil or a spirit based cosmetic cleanser
- Wait approx. 10 seconds and then rub away with cotton ball
- Alternatively you can lift the tattoo from dry skin using adhesive tape
Precautions.
For use under adult supervision. Not suitable for children under 3. Do not use near eyes or mouth. Do not use on broken or damaged skin. In the unlikely event of irritation wash off with warm soapy water immediately. Glue and inks will stain fabrics/clothes |
