| Q:Do you combine orders to minimise delivery costs? |

| A:Yes, we do for all UK Mainland orders as long as your purchases are made together. However, if you do not pay for all the items in one payment then we may be unable to combine your purchases. This is because we process orders as payment is received. This allows us to make same-day despatch of orders received before noon, depending on our workload. |
| Q:I overtightened the legs while fitting them and now the dowel screw is loose? |

| A:The best solution is to carefully remove (unscrew) the dowel, gripping it in the mid-point. Remove any debris from the hole then put some glue in the hole before refitting the dowel. Use Araldite or a good quality 2-part glue because this needs to be strong. Allow the glue to set fully before refitting the leg. |
| Q:I fitted your legs to my furniture but they appear to be wobbly. |

| A:THE T-NUT MUST NOT BE ON THE SAME SIDE AS THE LEG. These legs will not wobble if they are tight against the wooden frame. Perhaps the dowel screw is too long - check it against the previous legs. | Q:Can you make these items shorter or longer? |

| A:No. However, many of our products are already made in different heights (lenghts) so just look through our eBay shop and select the most suitable height for your application. All the items in our shop have been grouped into HEIGHT categories for your convenience. |
| Q:Will you produce 4 legs to my own design. |

| A:We are woodturners so we can make any item you require. However, producing only 4 legs to your design will probably add at least £42 to the cost of buying 4 similar standard items. | Q:I cannot find the colour I want listed. Have you got other colours in stock? |

| A:We list all the colour finishes we have in stock. It is impossible to stock every colour variation for each item so we only stock the most popular colour finishes.
This still means that our stockholding exceeds 38,000 items so you can normally find a suitable alternative finish within our stock range. |
| Q:Can I pay by cheque since I don't have a PayPal account? |

| A:Yes, you can pay by cheque if all else fails. However you do not need a PayPal account to use PayPal.
You can pay with any Credit or Debit card - just like buying groceries in a supermarket. Using PayPal protects your card data and avoids the delay of waiting for cheque clearance. |
| Q:How do I fit these legs to my furniture? |

| A:Your existing legs should just unscrew. Please ensure that our standard 8mm diameter dowel screw is the correct size for your furniture. Our INFORMATION website: www.howtofitlegs.com should answer all your questions. We have developed solutions to ensure that our legs can be fitted to virtually any wooden furniture. |

| A:Yes. Our maximum charge is £8.60 within the UK Mainland only. If eBay fails to combine the shipping then we automatically refund excess charges daily. | Q:When can I expect my order to arrive? |

| A:Normally items within UK Mainland are sent by courier on a 24 hour service. They are pretty good 98% of the time, but sometimes parcels can take 48 hours. The good news is that we have only lost 1 parcel in 4 years and in-transit the goods are fully insured automatically.
We can track any parcels that don't arrive when expected. |
| Q:How much is the Shipping and Handling Charge? |
|
| A:This varies according to the weight. For UK Mainland only we have a limit of £8.60 per order. We also have to buy the packaging and our despatcher, who can process 6 orders per hour also has to be paid, plus VAT on the total. Each despatch actually costs our company more than we charge. Our heavy hardwood legs are expensive to pack safely and send. |
| Q:Do you ship internationally? |

| A:Yes, we have negotiated low air freight rates. For example each delivery up to 30kg will cost: Belgium/France/Germany/Netherlands/ROI/ £18; Spain £21; Greece £26 etc. Email with the item details for a price and be sure to include your full address. (Surface mail is actually more expensive than these Air Freight rates.) |
| Q:How can I tell what screw fitting my furniture has? |

| A:Most modern UK furniture has 8mm diameter screw fittings. You cannot determine this just by measuring across the top of the screw thread. You need to get hold of a KNOWN 8mm standard machine screw (try B&Q) and see if it fits your furniture. If it is the correct diameter then it will fit easily without using any tools. 10mm is also used in the UK |
| Q:I have PUSH-FIT castors at present - can I fit your legs? |

| A:We supply T-Nuts with each leg which can be fitted easily. Remove the existing socket which can be levered out. Drill the hole out to 12mm dia. Fit the T-Nut into the TOP for the Wood Rail, tap it in with a hammer, then screw the leg into the T-Nut from the BOTTOM of the rail. Read: www.howtofitlegs.com for more solutions. |
| Q:I cannot get access to the TOP of the hole to fit the T-Nut. |

| A:We can supply an insert called an E-NUT. This needs a 12mm dia. hole, a little longer than the length of the Dowel Screw on the leg. The E-Nut is screwed into the wood using an Allen Key. It must be set as far into the wood as possible to give it strength. For 35mm length dowels, set the E-Nut 25mm deep into the wood. The leg screws into the E-Nut. |

| A:Sorry, but we cannot offer that service. However, we may have the legs you require available unpolished and if so then you could easily polish them yourself - it is not difficult. The legs will be listed in our eBay shop if they are available unpolished. It is possible to re-stain our polished legs simply by gently sanding prior to applying stains. |
