ALTERNATIVE FUN & FUNKY STYLE IDEAS
Clip in Hairpieces are SIZZLING HOT!! They are pictured on all the latest fashion and red carpet runways, though current trends still seem to see most celebs wearing them as they were intended but at TRESSAIR we think it’s only a matter of time before celebrity hairdressers get bored with the current trends and go for more creative looks.
If you want to get ahead and rock your clip in hair or ponytail style with a sizzling new look, why not try some of these fun, funky ideas on for size:
· CLIP IN HAIR
1. The Super Quiff

For those of you who want to wear your clip in hair a little different - The Super Quiff is a great half up/half down hair do that can be created using TRESSAIR clip in hair.
Section hair on both sides as above, from temple to corner of the crown, then from crown to top of the ear.
Clip in the hair extensions from the nape up to the crown. Normally the clip in hair would be fitted around the whole head. Here we are fitting them all in the back from ear to ear. Then move the hair at the crown (outlined in pink) forward and out of the way ready for step 3.
Now take the hair from the red section and tie it back into a pony tail just above the blue area of clip ins. This will keep the side areas sleek and is a great cheat for giving height.

Backcomb the darker pink area to make a secure base. Now you need to start to form your quiff, work from the crown forward and use some hairspray for control. Section by section shape the hair back and over the pony tail.
2.The Up-Do – To create a cute ponytail with TRESSAIR clip in extensions with a 60's sex kitten twist as seen on Nicole Ritchie, try fitting the bottom rows upside-down. This enables you to sweep them upwards without creating any unsightly bumps or visible clips.

You can fit the top rows as normal and then create a volume ‘bump’ over your top extension rows by backcombing the top of your own hair then smoothing a comb over it. To complete the up-do, make a ponytail, then coil and pin strands of your hair around and over the band. This can be as sexily 'mussed-up' or as neat as you like.
3. Chignons - You can even try attaching TRESSAIR clip hair along vertical partings down the sides of your head instead of horizontally, sweeping them back to create smooth-sided styles such as chignons without having to worry about visible attachment points. Get creative, use your imagination and with a little bit of practice you can create practically any style using hair extensions! Why not try styles as seen on Demi Moore below.

· PONYTAILS
Jessica Simpson made the big hair pony a Red Carpet sensation in two fabulous styles:
1. Jessica's hair was backcombed all along the crown and around her beautiful hair line.

Her fringe was backcombed as well and then carefully smoothed to one side creating additional height and lift. An add-on pony was attached at the nape of the neck and then hot ironed to create lots of kinks and natural texture.
2. Jessica’s hair was brushed into a super sleek crown with all the hair around her face incorporated into the super sleek style.

A series of super curly add-on ponies were carefully clipped to the nape of her neck. The extra clip-in tails billowed out into a big hair cascade. The effect was stunning. Whether you love it or not, the results were breathtaking.
Jessica Simpson is a huge fan of ponytails. She wears them in every length, texture and style. Why don’t you try and experiment with funky styles like these two big pony looks or create your own new looks.
· CLIP IN HAIR OR PONYTAIL
Celebs are sporting a cool and easy do - long side braids. You can easily copy this style Audrina is wearing by using TRESSAIR clip in hair or a TRESSAIR clip on ponytail.

Here’s how to copy the side braid: The trick to copying this look is make it look undone and messy – loose pieces can fall out and the braid doesn’t have to be perfect (how easy is that!?).
Start with pulling you hair loosely to the side and begin braiding, leave about 2-3″ of hair at the end so that the braid doesn’t get too skinny. If you have some large chunks of hair falling out, you can secure them with a pin – but remember to keep it loose and cool!
