TUTORIAL FOR ATTACHING A CHARM TO A CHARM BRACELET USING TWO SETS OF PLIERS

CLICK ON EACH INDIVIDUAL PICTURE FOR A LARGER VIEW
Hold the jump ring of the charm with each set of pliers, make sure the opening is centered. Use pressure toward opposite sides to twist open the ring.  Twist the ring, do not split apart. While holding on with one set of pliers, place bracelet through the opening in the jump ring.

Grab hold of the other side of the jump ring with your other set of pliers. Use pressure together to close the jump ring back to its original place.

 

TUTORIAL FOR ATTACHING A CHARM TO A CHARM BRACELET USING ONE SET OF PLIERS
DISCLAIMER: we highly recommend that you use two sets of pliers for safety reasons.  Do not continue this method if you have to use more strength than normal pressure to open the jump ring.

Hold the jump ring of the charm with thumb and forefinger firmly.  Hold the other side with pliers, make sure the opening is centered. Use pressure toward opposite sides to twist open the ring just enough to allow bracelet through. If resistance is strong, discontinue. While holding on with your fingers, place bracelet through the opening in the jump ring.

CLICK ON EACH INDIVIDUAL PICTURE FOR A LARGER VIEW
Insert your thumb into the split ring just enough to pry open the ring slightly, just as you would a keychain. Insert the ring into the charm opening and start circling it through.
 		 Circle through until the ring is completely through.

Pry open the ring again and insert it through the link on the bracelet. Circle through until the ring is completely through the bracelet.
