Our store payment policy requests that payment be made within 5 days of the sale. Our past experiences with low feedback buyers has been less than desirable to say the least, so we are always a little leery about sales of this kind.
It's nothing personal against anyone, in fact most sellers won't even accept bids from low feedback buyers, but we believe everyone deserves at least one chance, after all we've all been a new buyer at one point.
I can say though, we are not as lenient as we were when we first started selling. We used to allow way too much time for buyers to reply to payment reminders and warnings to report items as unpaid. That's why we now start sending reminders early.
The first friendly reminder will be sent on the 3rd day after the sale. Once the 5 days we allow has passed I will send a message requesting payment be made within the next 2 days which will cover the 7 days eBay allows before an unpaid item dispute can be opened. On the eighth day after the sale, if payment still has not been made, I will notify the buyer that an unpaid item dispute will be opened and relist the item for sale.
Of course, each buyer is different so if there is a legitimate reason for delayed payment and the buyer maintains communication, exceptions may be made to accommodate certain circumstances.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the checkout and or payment process please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
Tammie & Kerri |
