Stoves and Fires Direct pursues a policy of continuous product development. We reserve the right, therefore, to make minor amendments and improvements to our products without prior notice and Ebay listing alteration.
The descriptions and illustrations contained in our listings are intended merely to present a general idea of the Goods described therein and none of the above shall form part of any contract with the Purchaser.
Returns
To return all or part of your order you will need to provide us with details of why you wish to return the goods by contacting Customer Services. Any authorised returns must take place using the original packaging and be complete with all accessories and documentation. If a fault is verified, we will issue an immediate replacement.
We test all returned items. If a returned item is found not to be faulty by our technicians, you will be liable for the carriage charge to deliver it back to you.
In the event of returning an unwanted item, you will be entitled to receive a refund less a restocking charge of 15% and less the cost of carriage to send the item to you and to return it back to us. *In the event of returning an item which was sent to you originally as free post, the carriage cost savings as stated will also be deducted from your refund.

Installation of All Goods
(a) The Purchaser must be aware that Goods incorrectly installed may be a serious danger to people and property. The Purchaser is responsible for the proper installation of the Goods and the Company cannot accept any liability in respect of any omissions errors or failures on the part of the Purchaser to install the Goods in accordance with current laws or industry guidelines only in a sufficiently ventilated space and, in particular, to comply with the Gas Safety (Installations and Use) Regulations (GSIUR) as amended from time to time and with any installation instructions provided by the Company. All oil or electrical Goods must be installed in accordance with current laws or industry guidelines relating to their specific requirements. (b) Any installation instructions provided by the Company are provided by way of guidance only to the Purchaser and the correct method of installation will vary according to the environmental factors present on each installation. The Purchaser should in no circumstances undertake installation of the Goods unless it, or its agent or employee, is suitably qualified and sufficiently expert in such installation to understand how to follow the instructions correctly and install the Goods safely in the circumstances of each individual installation. (c) The Purchaser shall indemnify the Company against all costs, claims and expenses arising in connection with any failure by the Purchaser or its employees, agents, or sub-contractors to install the Goods correctly. (d) The appliance must not be installed if there is any damage to the glass or if they have been damaged in transit to your premises. (e) You must not alter or in any way tamper with any appliance. Should any product be so altered, any warranty will be invalidated and Stoves And Fires Direct and any of it’s suppliers cannot be held responsible for any malfunction or consequence.
