Descriptions and Photos
We do our utmost to describe each item thoroughly and we try to obtain the best possible photo we can of any product we sell. Sometimes it is difficult to obtain quality photographic images so inverably products are better than the photos can show. Many photos are supplied by the manufacture and we are therefore reliant on their picture/s and quality.
Sometimes there are changes in the manufacture/design of a product and it will not have an 'exact' photograph of that particular product, but 99.99% the photos we have match the design of the product for sale exact, some of the products photographed show a reflection in the item, please take into consideration when you make your decision. We are of course grateful if you see any product that is incorrectly described or is not the same as photographed, to bring it to our attention and we will remedy as soon as possible.
Postage and Delivery
All UK postings are usually dispatched same day, via: Royal Mail, Standard Parcels or a Courier (depending on the item sent). We obtain either a proof of posting or a trackable service, again depending on the service used. We are unable to take responsibilty for any delays with the postal service or the weather. So if your item is delayed due to either, please understand we did our bit by dispatching promptly as fast as possible.
International Signed For
Most small items we can send the cheapest route - International Signed For and this simply means the UK Post Office will ensure a trackable service to the 'country' you are ordering from. It does NOT mean it is signed for by you, it means it is signed for by the postal service in your country. It is then down to the postal service in your country to delver the item to you, which we CANNOT take responsibility for. So please don't hold us to ransom for a service offered by the post Office which we have NO control over. We can send via a courier, but this will inveriably cost more for the courier than the item you are buying, if you prefer a courier please ask and we will quote.
Helmets
Unless otherwise noted as EC marked the crash helmets we sell are NOt legal for UK road use. The 1/2 helmet style we sell is a U.S.A Crash Helmet and though it is fully D.O.T approved for the USA, they should not be purchased to be worn in the UK on UK roads. We at Chopperzone - South Coast Customs (UK) Ltd accept no responsibility for any injury you incur while riding with a helmet purchased from us. Nor will we accept any fines you might incur while riding with one of the helmets purchased from us. The 1/2 cruiser helmet is a little bit like small number plates, red running lights and loud exhaust, they are illegal. With regards any overseas purchase, please make sure if your country allows you to use these on the roads as we will not accept any claims if these are illegal to wear in your country.
Sales
We adhere to distant sales regulations and any item purchased under a Buy it Now option can be returned for credit within 7-days of purchase. Where an item is not as described or that it is faulty we also accept for return and a full refund is issued. If an item does not fit or you have ordered incorrectly, we will of course accept it back as a return, and we will issue exchange for something the same or greater value, or refund in full. Unless stated otherwise all sales include VAT at the standard UK prevailing rate. If you require a VAT specific invoice please contact us at the time of purchase, otherwise a standard invoice generated from EBAY/Pay-pal will be enclosed with your purchased item.
Returning an Item
Any item returned to us must be returned in the same packaging as you received it and in a re-saleable condition. All original labels and tickets should be returned / attached as well. Care on your part to repackage the item correctly is paramount, as any item returned to us damaged as a result of bad packaging or misuse will not be accepted for refund or exchange. Please do not mark, write on, or stick tape to any part of an items packaging, as this means we can't re-sale it without re-packaging it.
Warranty
We do not manufacture any items we sell, all items we purchase in and we are therefore governed by the manufacture's warranty. We however, offer UK buyers a 12-month limited warranty on most items we sell. A crash helmet however, will not be accepted for return regardless, due to its nature of wear. Any other item of clothing returned as faulty will not be accepted for return if there is a clear misuse on you part.
Parts and Accessories
All parts and accessories will be accepted for return if they are found to be faulty. However, any part returned to us damaged as a result of poor fitting or misuse will not be accepted as a return. Under NO circumstances will Chopperzone, South Coast Customs (UK) Ltd be responsible for any labour charges or replacement charges for any item found faulty whatsoever. We will refund or exchange an item proved to be faulty, but we will not pay any labour charges or charges for repairing. Nor will we be responsible for any damage caused to your motorcycle as a result of an item we supply being found faulty. |
