| Why Choose Hypnia Memory Foam?
Memory foam does away with the need to compromise between a soft, comfortable mattress and a firm, supportive one. But it is important to remember that not all memory foams are equal. They differ a great deal in quality, density, hardness or softness, response to temperature, and also durability and longevity. Hypnia have been manufacturing and supplying memory foam mattresses and memory foam toppers for years and during this time a large number of memory foam retailers have come onto the market.
However, not all memory foams are the same. Many companies offer noticeably inexpensive, unbranded, generic mattresses. These are generally made of either low density memory foam or layered with other, cheaper foam products and ingredients. These inexpensive memory foams won't provide the same comfort as a Hypnia memory foam mattress or mattress topper.
Do you mattresses come full size or are they rolled up?
Our mattresses are sent rolled up so will require 12-14 hours to expand, although we recommend leaving them for 18-24 hours before use. For these reasons you should keep your old mattress until your new one arrives!

How do I return an item?
According to Distance Selling Regulations consumers who purchase items from a business seller over the internet, where there is no face-to-face contact between the seller and the buyer before the contract is made, generally have the right to cancel the purchase of unused items within 7 working days (starting the day after the item is received). Some items are excluded from the right of cancellation (also referred to as the right of withdrawal) and any items to be returned must be in original condition. Business sellers are obliged to inform consumers about their right of withdrawal before the purchase. It is also within the rights of the business seller to ask for buyers to return items at their own cost.
This seller accepts returns of items if they are unused and in original condition.
Does your memory foam have an odour when new and is this normal?
Some items may have an odour when first opened but this is quite normal. We recommend washing the cover when your item first arrives. It this time it will be able air as it expands to full size.
Do you deliver at the weekends? Can I specify a time for delivery?
Our courier only delivers Mon - Fri although you can collect from their depots on Saturday mornings.
It may be more convenient to have items shipped to a work address or family member, but please remember we can only ship to Paypal registered addresses (unless you phone and complete your payment by card).
I've just paid for my items through Paypal. Can I now give you a different address for delivery?
No we can't as Paypal rules state very clearly that items can only be sent to the address confirmed at the time of payment. When making your purchase be asked to review your details and will have the opportunity to change your address (the word CHANGE will appear in blue next to your address when reviewing your payment and delivery details).
Does the courier charge extra for Scottish Highland or Offshore deliveries?
Delivery to Highland and Offshore addresses can vary from £7 for a mattress to highlands (postcodes beginning IV, PA, KW and PH), to £14 to Northern Ireland and other offshore locations. Please contact us before ordering if you are unsure of delivery prices to your area.
My mattress/topper has arrived but I'm not sure if its the right size, how to I check before opening it?
Our mattresses and toppers are compressed and roll packed for convenience, so a 10 inch mattress will only look about 3 inches thick inside the package. Please check the label where a letter followed by a number will denote the size E.G a D10 is a Double 10 inch mattress. A K8 is King 8 inch .

I've opened my mattress but it hasn't expanded to its full size yet, what do I do?
Some mattresses can take longer than others to reach their full size. Also using the mattress will help it become supple and expand as it reacts to your body temperature.
We ask all customers to allow for 14 days of use from opening before contacting us with this issue as this will give the mattress the full time it needs to expand.

What is your returns policy?
Buyers are entitled to cancel their purchase within 7 working days (starting the day after the item is received). We accept returns of both unopened and opened items, as long as opened items have not been used.
The buyer assumes all cost and responsibility for packaging and arranging the return of goods, and ensuring goods arrive with us in good condition. We recommend using an insured service.
Please consider the potential return cost before you open your item and allow it to expand. Once a mattress has expanded it cannot be repacked to original size and will be very expensive to return.
