About us - We are a small family run business offering great value accommodation in Champagny en Vanoise. It is a popular resort in both winter and summer. In winter you can explore the massive Paradiski area with over 415kms of marked pistes, Champagny is at the southern end of the La Plagne ski area. In summer we are at the gateway to the massive Vanoise National Park, the first National park in France, where you can enjoy numerous activities in the majestic French Alps.
We recently purchased a 17th Century apartment in Agde in the South of France, it has now been fully renovated for the 2011 Summer season.
History - We purchased apartment Les Bleuets in 2002 as a holiday home and totally refurbished it to a high standard. Initially renting out to family and friends we then ventured into renting out to the general public, initially via ads in local shops etc. then via the internet. We purchased studio Le Dahut in 2006, again refurbishing it to a high standard. We keep both properties maintained to a high standard as we and our friends use them for our holidays.
We have recently started offering other privately owned accommodation at extremely competitive prices, especially in the peak winter holiday weeks. We are inundated with requests for Christmas, New Year, February half term and Easter, the dates our accommodation is booked up for well in advance. We are now able to offer good quality, well located accommodation for between 2 and 20 people for the 2010/11 winter season. The majority of this is near the ski lift and resort centre.
Aims - We aim to offer high quality accommodation at bargain basement prices. The rentals we receive help to cover the running costs of the properties and do not provide a massive profit. If you look at the price comparison page you will see how well we compare with the major uk tour operators.
New Developments - We recently purchased a 3 bedroom apartment in Agde in the South of France. It is in an historic 17th Century building constructed from local volcanic rock, on the banks of the River Herault with fantastic views of the surronding countryside. It is only 5 minutes drive to some of the best mediterranean beaches in the South of France. We completely refurbished the apartment ready for the Summer 2011 season.

Ebay Booking Conditions - Apartment Les Bleuets, Studio Le Dahut and Agde apartment

1. Booking wil1 be provisionally confirmed by the owners following completion of the ebay 'buy it now' process by the client. Upon us receiving cleared payment and the completed booking form we will send you final confirmation. This is formal acceptance of the booking.
2. Cleared payment is to be received no later than 7 days after the ‘buy it now’ process is completed. If payment is not received by the due date the owners reserve the right to cancel.Payment is by Paypal, Cheque, Bank Transfer in Sterling, or in cash - sterling or Euros.
3. A security deposit to cover damage to the property, its contents etc in the form of a cheque for £150 is to be sent with the booking form. The cheque will be returned shortly after your stay once the property has been checked out. We reserve the right to bank this cheque, any necessary charges will be deducted and the balance along with any receipts will be returned. This does not limit the clients liability to the owner.
4. The client shall report to the Owner, without delay, broken or missing items, defects or breakdowns at the start of their holiday. The client shall reimburse the owner for any damage/breakage to the property, contents and equipment on the terrace including that caused by negligence by anyone in their party.
5. The property will be available from 4 pm, you have no right of access before this time. Departure is before 11 am, you are not entitled to remain after this time. Confirmation must be received from the owners for availability outside these times.
6. The number of people to reside in the property is fixed at the time of booking. Additions can only be made with the owners permission before the start of the holiday.
7. The client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the property and is responsible for leaving the property in a clean and tidy condition. The client also agrees not to act in a way that would cause disturbance to others. We reserve the right remove the client from the property and/or make a charge from the security deposit if we consider that these conditions have not been met.
8. We are not liable for any temporary defect or stoppage by public services to the property, in respect of any equipment or appliances in the property nor any loss damage or injury as a result of adverse weather or any other matter beyond our control.
9. In the event of substantial damage to the property before the start of your holiday the owner will refund all sums paid to the client within seven days of notification.
10. Under no circumstances shall the owner’s liability exceed the amount paid for the rental.
11. Cancellation: providing notification is received in writing not less than eight weeks prior to the Start of the holiday all monies paid, less £50 cancellation fee will be returned if the Owner is able to re-let the property. If cancellation takes place less than eight weeks prior to the start of your holiday no monies will be refunded.
12. The client is strongly advised to get a comprehensive travel insurance to include cancellation cover, personal effects, medical cover & public liability. This insurance may entitle you to recover non-refundable monies. It is also recommended your holiday insurance covers you for activities you may be taking part in during your holiday.
13. You must inform us of any special needs/ disabilities before booking to ensure suitability. |
