We do operate a refund or
replacement policy on lost postal items but not
until the Royal Mail's recommended waiting period is passed.
-
For post within the UK -
Please wait 15 working days* (from next
working day after posting) as Royal Mail
would not consider an item as lost until 15 working days have elapsed.
-
For International post -
Please wait 25 days for loss of an international item. This is to
allow time for an item to be delivered overseas - it may have been held at a
local delivery office in the destination country and be waiting for
collection or redelivery if no one was at home to accept the item when
delivery was initially attempted. Or the item may not have been delivered
for some reason in which case it will be returned to the sender in the UK.
Once these waiting periods have passed we will
offer you a full refund or a replacement if we still hold stock of the item.
*Working days are classed any
day which is not a Sunday or a public holiday.
*To calculate your waiting period find the next
working day after the date dispatched. This is your estimated delivery
date. Find the next working day after your delivery date and this is day 1
of the waiting period. Not including Sundays or public holidays count off
15 working days from day 1 and the working day after day 15 is the date we will
open a claim with Royal Mail and dispatch either a replacement item (subject to
stock) or a full refund.
For example: If an item is dispatched on 26th April the next working date would
be 27th April (estimated delivery date). The next working day after delivery
would be 28th April (day 1). 15 working days after 28th April would be
18th May (29th, 1st, 2nd, 8th & 15th are Sundays or bank holidays) so we would
issue a replacement or refund on 19th May. |
