Delivery

  1. All items require a signature on delivery. If the item is signed for by any other person, other than the named customer at the specified delivery address, the named customer is still responsible for the item and any other charges associated with it. Any instructions to our courier to leave the item with a neighbour or in garden etc are entirely at your own risk.
  2. It is our goal to deliver large bulky items within 14 days, and small packaged items within 3/5 days (excluding weekends & public holidays) from payment and completion of your order. Items which are made to order can take up to 28 days. Delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen events. Newlink Electrical Ltd shall be under no liability or be held responsible for any consequential loss/damage as a result of failing to deliver within estimated timescales.It is our recommendation not to book a installer until your order has been delivered and checked.
  3. It is the named customer’s responsibility to ensure that the entire order is checked thoroughly BEFORE signing the delivery note. Claims for damages or shortages will NOT be entertained if our courier has obtained a clean signature or if more than 24 hours have elapsed after delivery. Signing the delivery note ‘unchecked’ will not suffice. Damages/shortages discovered after our courier has delivered, must be reported by email within 24 hours of receipt. Your goods are insured provided these guidelines are met. Items which have been damaged or not delivered will be replaced/despatched as per the delivery timescales for that particular item. No compensation will be given in the event of delays/damages.
  4. If you have not received your order within the timescales stipulated, you must notify us by email. If our courier has left a card you must contact them directly. Some of our couriers require you to confirm whether the date they intend to deliver is acceptable, before they load the vehicle, it is the named customer’s responsibility to ensure acceptance of delivery date has been communicated to them and that someone capable will be present to help the driver with any large and bulky items. Any access problems or difficult to locate addresses must be notified to our couriers. If we have had an item returned back to us due to non communication on your part or no one was present to accept and sign for the item, you will be held responsible for the incurred and any additional delivery costs. ).
  5. You have the option of collecting your item from our warehouse in Manchester, Lancashire. Please email us if you wish to do this, and we will contact you with collection details etc. Do not attempt to collect your order without prior communication with us.
  6. Delivery rates mentioned within the item listing are correct at the time the listing template was created. These rates are subject to change without prior notice, since courier rates can fluctuate. Any offer to reduce postage by adding to your order only refers to the standard postcode areas.
  7. Newlink Electrical Ltd. or any of its associated suppliers shall not be liable for any financial, consequential or indirect loss suffered by the customer or any third party whether such loss arises from breach of a duly in contact or tort or in any other way including without limitation to the generality of this exclusion loss, loss of goodwill, loss of contracts, loss of data, damage to the property of the customer or anyone else (other than damage caused by the negligence of Newlink Electrical Ltd or any of its employees, agents or subcontractors) and personal injury to the customer or anyone else (except so far as such injury is attributable to Newlink Electrical Ltd negligence).

    Returns & Cancellations

  1. All purchases are final as per eBay policy. An item may only be returned if it is faulty or damaged (see section 1 paragraph 3 above for damaged item policy). In the event of a faulty or damaged item, you are required to email details of the fault or email digital images of the damaged item. Upon receipt you will be notified of how to return or how the item will be collected and brought back to us for inspection.
  2. All cancellations will be subject to a 15% cancellation charge to cover administration and restocking costs. Any costs incurred with our couriers will also be charged for.

    Warranty

  1. All items come with a minimum 12 month RTB (return to base) warranty, which covers parts and labour. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and not wear and tear or misuse or damage. We do not offer cash refunds for warranty claims. If your item cannot be repaired, we will replace it with an item of equal or greater specification. To process your claim we will require a copy of your invoice which acts as your proof of purchase. You are responsible for any shipping costs.
  2. All items must be installed by a qualified and competent installer and in accordance with the manufactuirers instructions. Failure to do so, will void any warranty or claim.

    Payment, Pricing & Product Descriptions

  1. Whilst we try to ensure all prices and products are described correctly, errors may occur. In the event of an error in the price or description of the goods or the delivery charge, we will give you the option to cancel or continue with your order.
  2. Great care is taken to ensure the accuracy of product descriptions. In the event of an error in the description of an item, we will give you the opportunity to cancel or continue with your order. Design variations may occur since manufacturers continually change and improve on their products. E & O E
  3. Payment must be received within 3 days of purchase. No item will be despatched until full payment has been received and cleared by our bankers.

    Communication

  1. Email is the preferred medium for communicating with us, since it allows us to keep our costs down and continue to offer unbeatably low prices. Due to the huge volume of email enquiries it is not always possible to reply immediately. It is our goal to reply within 48 hours (excluding weekends & public holidays). In circumstances where it is required, our contact telephone numbers will be supplied. After purchasing, eBay allow you to access all our contact information.

    Feedback

  1. Due to the huge volume of eBay orders, we are automatically set up to leave you feedback once you have paid and left feedback for us.
  2. Negative or neutral feedback on our account is something we take very seriously, as it can have damaging effects on our reputation and also restrict future sales. If we find that negative or neutral feedback has been left for reasons which are not inherent to the item or service rendered, or for reasons which are clearly within these terms and conditions, we have the right to begin legal proceedings and claim for the loss of business.

    Stock Inventory

  1. Whilst great care is taken to ensure stocks of products are available, there may be occasions where broken, damaged, wrong stock from supplier or an over the counter purchase from one of our non eBay customers prevents us from fulfilling an order. In this event, you will be given the opportunity to wait for stock to arrive or cancel your order. Any monies paid will be refunded in full if you choose to cancel.
