At Sharp-n-Swanky Ltd we aim to provide top quality
brands at rock bottom prices whilst promoting environmentally friendly
practices.
Our customer services are second to none; we answer
all questions within 24 hours and dispatch all orders (where payment has
cleared before 4:30pm) the same working day.
We pride ourselves on
being a green company. Our clothing is recycled and all boxes and paper
are recycled wherever possible. Our aim is to help people realise the
carbon footprint involved in daily actions like shopping.
Most of the
clothing you will find on the high street today will have been
manufactured in Asia.
Have a think for a moment about the carbon
footprint:
Transporting the raw materials to the manufacturers.
The pollution and energy involved in creating the garments.
Shipping to the UK.
Distributing to the retails outlets.
Your travel in reaching the shops and home again.
WOW! All that
for a top you may only wear a few times before binning, outgrowing or
simply not liking anymore!
We source all our clothing from UK
suppliers and give items, that may have ended up in a bin, a second
life. Not only helping the environment, but saving YOU money! Now
it doesn't get much better than that!!!
On July 16th 2010 we
launched our first Fairtrade line. Buy any of our fairtrade products and
we directly donate 25% of the final sale price to "The Fairtrade
Foundation" who work with impoverished people to give them a better
standard of living through trade. They work to eradicate sweat shops and
child labour. Environmentally aware and promote fair pay, they promote
empowerment and economic stability. A great cause and any purchase is
very appreciated.
Please note our clothes are shown on a size 8,
6 foot mannequin so may be shorter, longer, tighter or baggier on
yourself than the photo may seem. We encourage buyers to ask questions
regarding measurements if they are not sure. We always list at the
label size in each garment as due to the volume of clothes we list
it would take forever to measure every garment! Please bear in mind that
different shops may have different measurements.
With jeans and
trousers we always try to include the leg and waist measurement, these
are hand measured.
Currently eBay's item specifics for inside leg
measurements only goes up in 2s (28, 30, 32 etc), we will choose the
closest measurement (for search purposes) but please check our written
description for the actual measurement.

garment has no size label we will refer to Next's size guide for advice.

We are a smoke and pet free office environment, however, we cannot
guarantee this has been the case beforehand.
Postage:We aim to post everything on the same day if
payment is received before 4:30pm, we realise how important it is to
receive your goods promptly. All goods are sent 1st class so should be
with you the next working day.
Payments after 4:30pm will be sent the
following morning (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, where it will
be the next working day).
We offer a 70p discount per additional
item purchased.
To qualify for this discount you must pay for
your items in one combined invoice. If you decide to
purchase items seperately, on the same day, they will be sent in the
same package regardless of whether you have chosen to combine your
purchases or not.
This is due to the fact we use plastic courier bag
packaging and it would be unethical and damaging to the environment to
package items seperately.
Please bear in mind postage costs do
involve more than just the stamp price.
We ask that if you do not
agree with this then please do not bid.
Please note we
do not accept personal cheques.
We do accept instant online bank
transfers.
If paying by postal order please send Recorded
delivery.
We cannot be held responsible for any monies that go
missing.
Collection is available at a prearranged time during our usual working hours.
Please
ensure your address on eBay is correct.
Abroad Buyers please
note that payment is accepted by Paypal only.
Non-Paying bidders will be reported.
Please don't bid unless you
intend to pay!
We always obtain proof of postage and are happy to
assist you should your item not arrive safely.
Returns:Returns are accepted within 14 days of
purchase. Please inform us if you are going to be returning an item via
the eBay return request form.
Your refund will be given as soon as
the item is received back, and issued in the same form as the original
payment method.
Buyer is responsible for all postage costs.
We are more than happy to answer any questions regarding our items,
and during our usual working hours we should respond almost immediately.
If you do happen to have a problem after delivery please contact us
and we will do our best to resolve it for you.
We add items every
1-2 days so please add us to your favourite sellers and check back
again!
