BEAVER SCOUTS

( The Beaver Scout age range is 6 to 8. Children can join Beavers from the age of 5 ¾ if it is considered appropriate by the Leader. ) ·

The Beaver Scout uniform consists of a turquoise sweatshirt. · This is worn with the child's own trousers and a Group scarf. · The scarf is positioned round the neck and held together with a woggle. · Each Group has its own colour combination for its scarf. Many of these are stocked by us. · Beaver Scouts may also wear the other optional items of uniform some of which are available from this E-Bay shop. CUB SCOUTS

( The Cub Scout age range is 8 to 10 ½. No children can join the Cub pack below the age of 8. )

The Cub Scout uniform consists of a dark green sweatshirt. · This is worn with the child's own trousers and a Group scarf. · The scarf is positioned round the neck and held together with a woggle. · Each Group has its own colour combination for its scarf. SCOUTS

( The Scout age range is 10 ½ to 14 . Scouts may move on to Explorers between the ages of 13 ½ and 15. )

EXPLORER SCOUTS

( The Explorer Scout age range is 14 to 18 . Scouts may join Explorers between the ages of 13 ½ and 15 and may move on to Scout Network between the ages of 17 ½ and 18 ½. )

SCOUT NETWORK AND ADULTS

( The Scout Network age range is 18 to 25 . Explorer Scouts may move on to Scout Network between the ages of 17 ½ and 18 ½. Members must cease being a member of Network on reaching at the age of 25 )

The Network and adult uniform consists of a stone shirt or blouse. · This is worn with smart or activity trousers, a Scout Logo Belt and a Group scarf. · The scarf is positioned round the neck and held together with a woggle. · A uniform tie may be worn in place of a scarf. · Each Group has its own colour combination for its scarf. Many of these are stocked by us. · Adults may also wear the other optional items of uniform some of which are available from this E-Bay shop. UNIFORM SIZE DETAILS AND HINTS ON FITIINGS

• Activity Trousers, Belts, Shorts, Sweatshirt, Fleece and Waterproof Jackets
  Many of the Scout products listed in each section are worn by other sections as well.
  If the size you require is not on the page you viewed try the uniform page for another type of Scout. In age/size order these are Beavers (smallest), Cubs, Scouts, Explorer Scouts and Scout Movement (Fellowship, Network).
• Sweatshirts - the measurements are larger than those in school sweatshirts of the same size.
• Activity Trousers - tall children may require a larger age size. Allow for growing room. Tall Scouts may require an adult size.
• Smart shirt - there is a big jump in dimensions from XS to S. Buy for growing room.
• Blouses - girls sizes are small fitting.
• Polo Shirts - these are smaller in size than equivalent sweatshirts.
• Hats - the size is shown in inches and cms. If the size is not known measure the circumference of the head.
• Sea Scout Jerseys, Hats and Leaders Caps - only available to specific orders.

The measurements detailed below are in inches and then in centimetres.

You should allow a tolerance of +/- 2.5cm on any item of clothing.

When taking chest measurements always measure 2 cm below the armhole.

* The measurements shown are the actual size of the garment not the persons chest size it is to fit.

** The sleeve length is stated only in inches and is measured from the shoulder seam to the cuff.
