eBay Purchase Terms and Conditions

Shipping:

We ship by the Post Office, Parcelforce and TNT and will only dispatch items by a service that will require you to sign for the items upon receipt or is tracked. The cost of the shipping includes not only the cost of the postage but also an allowance to cover the cost of packaging materials and other expenses directly incurred in shipping process. We are VAT registered. We are legally required to charge you VAT on the total cost even though the postage is VAT exempt, a full VAT invoice will be issued for the purchase allowing VAT registered UK business customers to reclaim the VAT element. This should also be retained by all customers as proof of purchase in the event of a claim against any warranties.

We aim to dispatch goods as soon as we can, for goods purchased on a working day before 3pm this is normally the same day but this can not be guaranteed. Normally all goods are held in stock but, as we sell items via other methods we may find that we have not got the stock available, in the event of this happening we will contact and advise you of the expected availability of the item.

Upon dispatch you will be sent a dispatch notification via the eBay message system which will contain tracking reference number for the delivery. If you have not received your goods within a few days it could be worth contacting your local delivery depot and quoting the reference as experience has shown that in many cases of none delivery the goods are being held at the delivery depot and the failure is in leaving the notification that the delivery has been attempted. Alternatively you can check the status on the relavent website.

Combined Shipping Discount:

If you purchase multiple items from us we will be pleased to combine ship the items into one delivery if it is practical. Recorded delivery will only cover up to 100 x 1st class stamp in value, due to this in some circumstances we may only be able to dispatch your items in multiple packets this is in both your and our interest in the event of items going missing or being damaged in shipping. Under some circumstances it might be cheaper to combine the items into one  delivery which will cover the total value. Please also consider that 2nd class recorded delivery is only available for packages up to 1Kg and in some circumstances we can ship items together 1st class cheaper than the individual items ship 2nd class as separate packages. We will endeavour to provide the best service we can. For a combined shipping cost please purchase the items you want and then contact us via eBay message service quoting your eBay id, item numbers, Name, Address & date purchased stating that you would like a cost for the combined shipping. We will respond as soon as we can with the options that we can offer.

Parcelforce UK parcel delivery zones and Surcharges

Zone 1: England, Wales and parts of Scotland, excluding Highlands and Islands. The zone is made up of all postcodes not mentioned in zones 2 and 3. No surcharge.

Zone 2: The Highlands and Islands of Scotland - postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE. Add: £7.99 to stated cost

Zone 3: Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly -postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25 Add: £12.93 to stated cost

Parcelforce to the Channel Islands (Jersey or Guernsey)

Any Parcelforce delivery to Jersey or Guernsey will be charged at the UK rate plus £11.00.

Shipping to International Customers:

We are willing to supply goods to customers outside of the UK but in some circumstances our contract with our supplier prohibits us from doing so. If you are interested in purchasing any items and would require it to be shipped outside of the UK and the shipping cost is not contained within the listing please contact us BEFORE YOU MAKE A PURCHASE via the eBay message service quoting your eBay id, item number, Name, and desired shipping Address. We will advise you if we are able to supply you and what the shipping cost would be.

Payment Methods:

Paying by PayPal:

If Paying by PayPal please note we only ship to the PayPal address.  These are PayPal rules not ours !  If you want to have the item shipped to another address then please add that address as a GIFT address in YOUR PayPal Account and select THAT address as the delivery address when making the payment to us. Please note that goods purchased by eCheque will NOT be dispatched until the payment has cleared into our PayPal account.

Paying by Post Order:

If you are paying by Postal Order please make it payable to SANDTONY Consulting and send it to Sandtony Consulting, 15 Fair-Green Rd, Baldwins Gate, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, ST5 5LS. Your item will be shipped as soon as the funds have cleared, if the Postal Order is not crossed this is normally the same day of receipt for a crossed Postal Order this will normally take 3 to 4 working days from receipt. Please enclose details of your eBay id, item number, Name, Address & date purchased.

Paying by Cheque:

If paying by cheque please make it payable to SANDTONY Consulting and send it to Sandtony Consulting, 15 Fair-Green Rd, Baldwins Gate, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, ST5 5LS. Your item will be shipped as soon as the funds have cleared this will normally take 4 to 6 working days from receipt. Please enclose details of your eBay id, item number, Name, Address & date purchased.

Paying by Bank Transfer (Online Banking):

If you wish to pay by Bank Transfer please purchase the goods and then contact us via the eBay message service quoting your eBay id, item number, Name, Address & date purchased stating that you wish to pay by bank transfer and we will issue you with the relevant account details and a payment reference number for you to make the payment online or at your bank Items will be dispatched when the funds have cleared into our account. 

Returns and Lost Goods:

Change of mind:


All return requests received within 14 days due to "Change of mind" will be refunded upon receipt of the original item.
Please note the item must be returned in the same condition received, unopened and unused with all packaging, manuals and so forth.  A RMA number must be issued before the item can be returned and we cannot reimburse any return postage costs. Please contact us via the eBay message service quoting your eBay id, item number, Name, Address & date purchased. We will issue an RMA for the item to be returned to us and must be sent by a service that will provide proof of delivery, as proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of return. If the returned item is lost in the post you will be responsible for claiming from the carrier and any loss incurred if the goods are not covered to the full value.


Faulty Products:


We do not accept returns after 14 days unless the item itself is possibly faulty.  Please contact us via the eBay message service quoting your eBay id, item number, Name, Address & date purchased.  We will issue an RMA for the item to be returned to us for testing/replacement. All items must be returned at your own expense and must be sent by a service that will provide proof of delivery as proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of return. If the returned item is lost in the post you will be responsible for claiming from the carrier and any loss incurred if the goods are not covered to the full value.

In the event that the item is found not to be faulty we will invoice you for the costs to cover the return of the item to you. The item will not be returned untill payment is receved.


Lost shipping:


For items that are lost in the post. We have to wait 15 working days for the UK and 25 working days for International orders to arrive. These are Post Office's terms and conditions. If an item is lost then after the waiting period please contact us via the eBay message service quoting your eBay id, item number, Name, Address & date purchased. We will issue a claim with Post Office. We will offer you a replacement item subject to the Post Office accepting the claim and the recipient providing all information requested by the Post Office to process the claim.

For other carriers an appropriate claim will be made and upon the carrier accepting responsibility for the lose a replacement item or refund will be isued as required.


Damaged in the post:


For items damaged in the post they must be returned to us.  These damaged items are requested by Post Office to process the claim so we have to have them back. If your item has arrived damaged, please contact us via the eBay message service quoting your eBay id, item number, Name, Address & date purchased. We will issue an RMA number to return the item(s) to us and then make a claim with Post Office.
All returns must be sent by a service that will provide proof of delivery, as proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of return. If the returned item is lost in the post you will be responsible for claiming from the carrier and any loss incurred if the goods are not covered to the full value.

Shipments Returned by the Carrier:

If a shipment is returned to us by the carrier because the address is incorrect or the item has not been collected by the recipient then we will not refund the shipping costs unless the mistake lies with us. To redeliver the goods we will require the payment of the additional shipping costs.
