These
are our General Terms and Conditions relating to on-line store orders.
Our General Business Terms and Conditions are as per those already on
our main site.
Delivery policy:
All orders are processed upon receipt.
For orders placed on invoice (cheque with order) this means upon
receipt of payment as per the invoice value. For orders placed by
credit card, this means upon receipt of confirmation of credit card
payment clearance.
Physically
small items with a value under £30 will be shipped by recorded post.
Physically larger items and/or items of a higher value will be shipped
using our couriers, Business Post. All items will need to be signed for
therefore we request that you use a delivery address where someone will
be available to sign for your parcel. Additional charges may be
incurred if goods are returned to us and need re-delivering.
You will
be advised via e-mail if any goods are not immediately available and
where possible an anticipated delivery date will be advised.
You may
check the status of your order by logging on to the order status area
of our web site as instructed on your order confirmation e-mail.
Basic returns policy:
If for any reason you are unhappy with
your purchase,
you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the
date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap
intact) and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the
item.
Please
note that we can only accept the return of opened items if they are
faulty. We cannot exchange items that are not damaged, defective or
incorrect. When you send your item back to us, we'll process the
returned item then notify you via e-mail of your refund. You can expect
a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase
within two weeks of our receiving your return.
To
return goods please send an e-mail to returns@safelink.co.uk.
Give details of the item(s) you wish to return, your date of purchase
and the delivery note number. State your reason for return. We will
respond with a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) ,
which should be written clearly on the address label. Package the
relevant item(s) securely and send it to us at SAFELINK SERVICES, 135
HIGH ROAD, NEW SOUTHGATE, LONDON N11 1PP. Please include the original
delivery note or copy in with the parcel. For you own
protection we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service.
IMPORTANT
- You must obtain an RAN before sending any item(s) back to us for
refund/credit. We will not make any refunds on items returned without
an RAN.

Items returned within the seven-day cooling
off period:
By law, customers located in the European
Union have
the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven days of
the day after the date the item is delivered. For more information see
Your Statutory Rights. (Please note: this policy does not apply to
business customers). Where you are withdrawing from your purchase
within the seven day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on
our part, we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending
the item to you as follows:
- Where
you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we'll refund
the per-item charge for delivery that you incurred.
- Where
you are returning an entire order, we'll refund applicable per-item
delivery charges and the per-delivery charge that you incurred.
- We will refund only standard postage charges for
items delivered outside the UK.
Items
returned under the 30-day returns guarantee:
Where you are withdrawing from your purchase between seven and 30 days
after delivery, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund
only the cost of the item. We will not refund the cost of delivery or
other services provided to you in connection with your purchase.
Items returned because they are damaged,
defective or incorrect:
If you are returning an item because of an
error on our
part or because it is damaged or defective, we will be happy to refund
the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and we'll
reimburse your costs in returning it to us.
If the item was damaged in transit:
If you take delivery of a Safelink.co.uk
package and
the contents have been damaged in transit, you can return the item(s)
to us within 30 days of receipt for exchange. (please note: for
business customers this period is 14 days).
If the item is defective:
You have the right to return a faulty item
within a
reasonable period of time. Manufacturers warranties are provided on all
goods supplied. They goods are under warranty for one year from the
date of purchase.
If we sent you an item
you did not order (an "incorrect" item):
As soon as you find out we've sent you an
incorrect
item, advise us by e-mail to receive your Returns Authorisation Number
(RAN). If you want us to replace the item we sent you with the item you
ordered please confirm that a replacement is required. Should you wish
to cancel your order please advise us and we will arrange a full
refund. Note: In the event of Safelink Services sending you a
replacement for a damaged, defective or incorrect item, you must return
the original item to Safelink Services within 30 days of our e-mail
confirming the issue of the replacement item. Provided you return this
item to us within the 30 days, you will have nothing more to pay. If
you do not return the original item to us by the end of the 30-day
period, we reserve the right to charge an amount equal to the price of
your original order to the payment card you used for the order.
Your Statutory Rights - Cooling-off Period:
At safelink.co.uk we want you to be delighted every time
you
shop with us on-line. Occasionally though, we know you may want to
return items. That's why under our 30-day returns guarantee, if for any
reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in
its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item.
By
law, customers in the European Union also have the right to withdraw
from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after
the date the item is delivered. This applies to all of our products.
To
cancel your purchase within the seven-working-day cooling-off period,

Please give details of the items you wish to return and your date of
purchase giving your reason for return, as "I just don't want it
anymore". We will respond with a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN),
which should be written clearly on the address label. Please package

delivery note in with the parcel. For your protection, we recommend
that you use a recorded-delivery service.
Please
note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items
to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is
damaged or defective. If we do not receive the item back from you with
the delivery note, we may arrange for collection of the item from your
residence at your cost. As soon as we receive notice of your
cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the
purchase price for that item together with the item's normal postage
charge.
