Not sure that your remote control faulty?
Here is a simple test you can do!
Power up your digital camera,or camera-phone,ready to take a photo.
Point the remote into the camera's lens,from an inch or so, and press a button on the remote control.
If when you press that button, a white light show's on the camera's lcd screen,then that button is working.
Repeat process, to test other buttons.If the remote is working,assuming it did before then this points to the rf receiver in the equipment being at fault.
This simple test could save time and money.
