Returns Policy
The UK Distance Selling Laws differ between auctions and fixed price items.
Auction Items
Although we make every effort to ensure that the item is correct and not faulty in any way before dispatch, on rare occasions there may be a problem with your item such as: -
- Item is not the one featured in the listing or is significantly not as described
- The item is faulty
Fixed Price Items (Buy It Now) Additionally, for a fixed price item, you are entitled to return it for whatever reason provided that it is reported within 7 days of receipt and must be unused, unaltered, undamaged (including the manufacturers packaging and contents) and complete (all tags, labels etc.).
Procedure If your situation meets the requirements above, then please contact us via the eBay messaging system and include in your message:-
- The eBay item number of the item as bought.
- The reason for requesting a return
We will then issue a return address which will include a returns authorisation number.
- For exchange items, a redelivery charge may be levied via Paypal and no exchange goods will be dispatched until this charge has been paid.
- For refunds, any original postage charges are not refundable
Please note that the customer is liable for the cost of returns and is always responsible for ensuring the items safe undamaged return. We will refuse a return (or at our discretion levy a charge) if the item is damaged, incomplete or no longer in the condition that it was supplied in. We always recommend as a minimum that a certificate of posting is obtained free of charge from a UK Post Office at the time of posting, but it should be noted that this has an insurance ceiling of 100 times the current cost of a 1st class stamp and it is always the senders responsibility to claim for lost items.
For items returned that do not meet the criteria specified here, a redelivery charge will be levied equivalent to the original p&p charge and the item will be resent to the customer. |
