Warranty/ Guarantees:

1 year mechanical parts replacement warranty, (excluding foam and fabric, wear and tear). We reserve the right to modify and improve chairs without notice. Replacement parts shipped to standard, mainland UK delivery point

Project X Office offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all products purchased.

All products are covered with a component warranty. In the event of damaged or faulty component we should be able to arrange a swap part directly with the manufacturer without the need to return to our premises.

Returns:

Goods will only be accepted for return if unused and in a re-saleable condition and in original packaging. Unless the product is being returned due to a manufacturing fault or supplier error (See Below), there will be a handling charge of £30 or 15% of the invoice value, whichever is the greater, for Chairman, Club and Tub chairs the charge is 25% or £ 60, whichever is the greater. Additionally if the product needs re-boxing a charge of £ 8 per operator chair and £ 15 per executive chair will be implemented.

All returned goods will be inspected and we reserve the right to charge for incomplete returns, orders placed in error or not wanted prior to any credits being raised. These warranties do not affect your statutory rights.

Please be aware it can take upto 10 days for the courier to collect a return request and return inspections are only done on two days a week - These warranties do not affect your statutory rights

Defective Products / Damaged Items:

Our obligation is to replace any damaged parts, if the item has been delivered with a damaged replaceable part we will send a replacement to you - However you must notify us within 48 hours that the item has damage. We will not replace chairs that have replaceable damaged parts, chairs will only be replaced if the parts are not replaceable.

Products can returned by you because of a manufacturing defect/fault will be refunded in full only if they are returned in the same packaging as they were delivered and once they have been checked and confirmed defective by our returns department (including the cost of sending the Products to you, and the cost of returning the Products to us).

Alternatively, if we and you agree, we may supply you with a replacement product - Items that are returned for any reason apart from the above will be have our standard handling charges applied.

It is the responsibility of the customer to obtain proof of dispatch/collection. All returned goods will be inspected and we reserve the right to charge for incomplete returns, orders placed in error or not wanted prior to any credits being raised.

These warranties do not affect your statutory rights.

Returns Address:

We normally arrange for returns to be sent directly to our manufacturers. Please contact us for the relevant address to return your goods to.

Items Damaged in Transit:

Please inspect the goods upon delivery. The courier is obliged to wait while you inspect the goods. If any items were damaged in transit, we ask that you report it to us within 48 Hours. If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, it's best to sign the carrier's delivery note accordingly. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once received back into our warehouse, we will issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method.

Items Faulty on Arrival:

If your items are faulty on arrival, you have 5 calendar days in which to inform us of the fault. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once we have verified the fault, we'll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs. We test returned items, and if a returned item is found not to be faulty by our technicians we will return the item to you, in this instance you will be liable for the return carriage.

Distance Selling Regulations 2000:

These regulations apply to sales to private individuals (rather than business customers) who purchase by means of ebay’s ‘Buy it Now’ format, and specify that you have a ‘cooling-off’ period of 7 working days from receipt of the goods during which time you may notify us in writing, by email, fax or post, of your wish to cancel.

This is not the same as having 7-days free approval. You have a ‘duty of care’ for the goods and they must be returned to us in a brand new saleable condition. This means they must be in the original packaging, with all original inserts, instructions, etc. Once you have used, assembled or mounted the item you will be deemed to have accepted it and this option will no longer apply.

There must be no writing or labels on the outside and you should carefully tape up and/or rewrap as necessary to protect the item on its way back to us. You are responsible for the cost of return carriage.

For your own protection, you should make sure that you are using an insured, trackable service to return the goods as we will not be responsible for loss or transit damage that is evident, and reported to the carrier, when the package arrives. We will only refund the full Buy it Now price and VAT on undamaged items as specified above.

The receipt of your positive feedback on ebay will indicate that you have accepted, and intend to keep, the goods.

Colour Variations:

While every effort is made to ensure the images used to sell the item accurately reflect the item advertised, it is not always possible to ensure the item received will identically match the images we use. This is due to the differing nature of colour schemes and monitors used by individuals viewing the item(s) on line. We cannot accept back items due to the item not being the colour you expected

Leather Chairs:

All leather chairs are leather faced with simulated leather frames, unless otherwise stated.

Ebay procedures:

We are always pleased to leave feedback, but recognise that this is completely optional - we will never harrass you for feedback ourselves! All we ask from you is that you let us know the transaction is completed to your satisfaction, either by email, or by leaving feedback yourself, and we will quickly reciprocate.

It is our policy not to cancel sales 'by mutual agreement' unless we are at fault. If an item is refused or returned for any other reason we will reclaim our selling fees via ebay's recognised procedures.

We follow the automatic program of payment reminders via ebay. If a buyer fails to pay before the date when we are eligible to reclaim our Final Value Fees we will not subsequently remove an Unpaid Item Strike. If you cannot pay, please do not bid.

We will always respond to Questions or requests for other information as quickly as possible - but please bear in mind we are only open during normal business hours mon-friday 9:00am-5:00pm.
