With a huge choice of Digital Telephone system technologies available, knowing which is best for you and your budget can be confusing!
Digital systems by their nature tend to be more advanced than Analogue systems and offer more features, however that is not always the case.
The main advantage of a Digital systems is the ability to not only connect to Analogue lines but also Digital ISDN2, some of the bigger systems also offer ISDN30. ISDN lines offer many advanced features such as DDI, external call transfer and can reduce your costs if you have a lot of analogue lines
If you are looking for a system that is future proofed, Digital is your best choice.

Why choose an Analogue system over a Digital one?
There are Anaolgue systems available today such as Panasonic's superb KX-TEA308 and the KX-TES824 that offer features that even the most advanced digital systems of a few years ago could not match
The systems mentioned above come as standard with features such as Auto Attendant, Fax detection, remote diagnostics plus many other features. They offer fantastic value for money and will work with all standard BT type lines, excluding ISDN. If you think that at some point in the future ISDN would be useful, go Digital.
If you are looking for a simple system to answer, transfer and make calls then an Analogue system is a good choice.
