By bidding or clicking on the 'Buy it now' button, on one of PCArena-Bristol's eBay auctions, you are agreeing that you have read and understood all of our Terms and Conditions listed below and any relevant policies linked from this web page. Any reference to the words: we, us, our - means PCArena-Bristol, the Seller. Any reference to the words: you, bidder, customer - means the ebay account holder who purchased the item on ebay, the Buyer.
1. Payment Process / Checkout Procedures
(1.1) Once you have successfully bid on your item and have won the auction, all that is required for you to do is to checkout and complete eBay's secure payment process. You can either click on the secure "Pay Now" button on the auction to pay straight away, or otherwise, you can wait and buy multiple items and combine the postage costs.
(1.2) Payment is required within seven (7) days, otherwise the item, will be relisted and sold to the next highest bidder. If payment cannot be completed within seven (7) days, please contact us to notify us of any delay beforehand. Unpaid auction wins will be forfeited after seven (7) days and a Non-Payment report dispute will be filed with eBay to recover the closing fees of the auction.
(1.3) Payment methods accepted Items will not be dispatched until full payment has been received and cleared into our account (Paypal or Bank Account). Buyers can pay by Cheque, Bank Transfer, Postal Order, or PAYPAL. Cheques and Postal Orders should be made payable to Nic Fordham. Please allow up to 14 days for Bank Cheques & Postal Orders to clear. Please do not send cash, as we will not be held responsible for lost payments. All payments must be received in GBP £ Sterling, otherwise it will be returned to sender. We only ship to verified PayPal addresses & reserve the right to refuse orders where delivery is requested to a non verified address. Any order requesting delivery to an unconfirmed PayPal delivery address may be subject to a checking delay &/or cancellation of order with a full refund.
(1.4) VAT receipts and invoices Value Added Tax is currently included in our prices, at the rate of 15%. The price you see on auction, is the price you pay. VAT receipts and invoices are included as default. Non-EU customers still have to pay the full price shown on the listing, please contact your local Tax office to reclaim any taxes that maybe due. (1.5) Customs & Excise Charges Overseas customers, please be aware that your country may charge you customs and excise taxes on this item, we will not send this item marked as "gift" to avoid these charges, as in our country this is classified as illegal, all packaging will be clearly marked and labeled.
2 Right to cancel
(2.1) Under the Distance Selling Regulations Act, the buyer has the right to cancel their purchase at any time up to the end of 7 days after you receive the goods. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to PCArena-Bristol by hand, post or by email, giving details of the goods ordered, ebay user-id and ebay item number. If you exercise your rights of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to PCArena-Bristol at your own cost. Return Postage from Buyer to PCArena-Bristol is non-refundable under the Rights of Cancellation Agreement.
(2.2) The goods must be complete, un-opened and unused, no packaging seals should be broken or labels removed. PCArena-Bristol will issue a full refund for the item only via your original payment method. Return Postage from Buyer to PCArena-Bristol is non-refundable.
(2.3) If any of the seals, labels or internal packaging have been opened / broken or any items are missing, this item is now classified as "Used" and not as "New", therefore, we cannot resell this item at its full value. PCArena-Bristol will administer a 50% re-packaging fee and refund the further 50% of the value of the item only to you via your original payment method.
3 Delivery
(3.1) PCArena-Bristol currently posts worldwide. Local Collection is only permitted if stated in the ebay listing. Shipping costs will be paid by the buyer, and will be added to the invoice during checkout.
(3.2) Shipping Times All our items are dispatched Monday to Friday at 17:00 hours. For same day dispatch, payment must be received before 15:00 hours. All orders placed on Saturday or Sunday or a Bank Holiday are dispatched on the next possible working day.
(3.3) For any signed for delivery service upon receipt of your order you will be asked to sign for the goods received in good condition. If the package does not appear to be in good condition then please refuse the delivery. If you are unable to check the contents of your delivery at the point of delivery then please sign for the parcel as "UNCHECKED". Failure to do so may affect any warranty / refund claims that you make thereafter.
(3.4) Delivery Times / Items Not Received for UK Customers
All post within the United Kingdom is either sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or a courier of our choosing. Please allow up to 15 days for delivery. We cannot process emails asking "where is my item" before the 15 day point. Royal Mail does not deem an item lost until after 15 days is exceeded, therefore we cannot provide you with any further information. After 15 days, if your item is still not received, we can file a claim with the courier in question. If Royal Mail has deemed the item lost, we will resend the item (Stock dependant) or refund you in full, at our expense only after 14 days has elapsed.
(3.5) Delivery Times / Items Not Received for European / Overseas customers.
All items are sent by Royal Mail International Signed for, please allow upto 28 days for delivery. We cannot process emails asking "where is my item" before the 28 business day point. Royal Mail and other couriers, do not deem an item lost until after 28 business days as exceeded, therefore we cannot provide you with any further information. After 28 days, if your item is still not received, we can file a claim with the courier in question. If the courier has deemed the item lost, we will resend the item (Stock dependant) or refund you in full, at our expense only after 28 days has elapsed.
(3.6) We keep a record of packaging for all items ordered which can be referred to in the event of non-delivery when non-signed for method is postage is selected. We always recommend choosing a signed for method of delivery to guarantee traceability in the unlikely event of an item going missing in transit & cannot be held responsible for items that go missing if standard 1st or 2nd class postage is chosen as the delivery method. If you have ordered an item with a verifiable delivery method and have still not received it, please feel free to request the items tracking number so that you can follow the parcels delivery progress. Please email delivery@pcab.co.uk to request this number, please provide us with your eBay user-id, the item number of the auction won and the date the auction was completed.
(3.7) Postage Costs Please see individual item listings for specific shipping costs and delivery methods. All costs shown, include: postage materials, courier charges and also the cost of staff time and any other associated expenses involved in order picking, packing and the taking of the item to the post office / collection depot. Although we are prepared to combine mailing charges for multiple purchases, shipping and handling for single purchases is clearly stated in each auction and is strictly non-negotiable.
(3.8) Non-Receipt of Delivery If delivery is not possible, because "no one is home" or the address provided by yourself on eBay/PayPal is incorrect, the item will be returned to sender. If this happens, the full cost of re-shipping the product will be payable again. Please make sure your eBay/PayPal contact and delivery details are correct and that there is someone available to sign-for or collect the parcel.
(3.9)Reporting Non-Receipt of order.
If an order does not arrive you must report this to us within 28 days of our dispatch for us to investigate why you have not received your goods. We will try to help with any report of non-receipt after this time however you will need to make your own claim against the Courier/Royal Mail if over the 28 day period.
4 Returns
(4.1) Faulty / Incompatible / Incomplete items under the Distance Selling Regulations Act must be reported within 7 days of receiving product. All items returned within 7-business days of delivery are eligible for a full refund or "a like for like" replacement. Items reported after the 7 day cut off period, will be replaced only, no refund is available after 7 days of receiving your product. If a product is out of stock or has been discontinued, you're returned 'faulty' item will be sent back to manufacturer for repair or replaced with a similar, equal valued item. All PCArena-Bristol items and products come complete with full 12-month warranty, if the your product fails to operate in the required manner within this time period, PCArena-Bristol will gladly accept the item back for replacement.
(4.2) Return costs. If an item is over the 7 day period then the cost of returning an item is down to the customer. If you return an item within the 7 day period due to faulty goods or a mistake by us then we will cover the cost of postage used for 2nd class post only. If you wish to use a more expensive postal service then please contact us for authorisation to do so.
(4.3) Items Damaged / Missing in Transit If a signed for delivery method is chosen, you will be asked to sign for the goods to say that they have been received in good condition. If the package does not appear to be in good condition then please refuse the delivery, the item will be returned to ourselves and we will immediately dispatch a replacement. If you are unable to check the contents of your delivery at the point of delivery then please sign the couriers paperwork for the parcel as "UNCHECKED", failure to do so may affect any warranty / refunds.
(4.4) If the item has been signed for as "UNCHECKED", please open the parcel within 7 days to check the contents for damage and completeness. If after, opening the parcel, you discover any items that are damaged or missing in transit from PCArena-Bristol to you, we ask that you report it to us within 7 business of receipt days by email, giving details of the goods ordered, your ebay user-id and the ebay item number. The internal contents of the package should not be opened, all items should be returned in their original packaging, complete with all accessories and documentation. Once received back into our warehouse, we'll immediately issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method.
(4.5) If after receiving your item from PCArena-Bristol, you discover the item to be faulty, we ask under the Distance Selling Regulations Act that you contact our support team within 7 days of receipt by hand, post or by email, giving details of the goods ordered, your ebay user-id and the ebay item number. PCArena-Bristol, will attempt to provide support first on the faulty item. If after providing support, we deem your item to be faulty, we will ask you to please return the item back for refund or replacement.
(4.6) Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once we have verified the fault, we will issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method. We test returned items, and if a returned item is found not to be faulty by our technicians we will return the item to you, in this instance you will be liable for the return carriage & a testing fee as explained in your RMA email. The tested item will not be returned until return payment has been received.
(4.7) If the returned item is sent back to us and we discover any items missing and not previously reported to us we shall treat this item now as "Used" and not as "New", therefore, we cannot resell this item at its full value. PCArena-Bristol will administer a 20% re-stocking fee and refund the further 80% of the value of the item only to you via your original payment method. If a replacement is required, we shall remove the "missing item" from the new product before dispatch.
(4.8) If any of your purchases develop a fault, and it more than the 7 days of receipt, then provided your item is within its 12 month warranty period, you are entitled to a warranty repair or "like for like" replacement (No refund permitted after 7 days of receiving the product). In some cases, manufacturers provide a specialist full on-site service and/or telephone help facilities for your convenience, which we recommend you use in order to correct the fault quickly. Please contact PCArena-Bristol (See Section 6), we will attempt to provide support first on the faulty item. If after providing support, we deem your item to be faulty, we will ask you to please return the item back for replacement.
(4.9) We test returned items, and if a returned item is found not to be faulty by our technicians we will return the item to you, in this instance you will be liable for the return carriage & a testing fee as explained in your RMA email.. The tested item will not be returned until return payment has been received.
(4.10) If the returned item is sent back to us and we discover any items missing and not previously reported to us we shall remove the "missing item" from the new product in stock before dispatching the item to you.
5 Returning Items
(5.1) Before returning any item to PCArena-Bristol, please download & complete an RMA form then email it to our Support Team. Only items reported within 7 days of receipt qualify for a refund / replacement. No refund is available after 7 days of receipt.
(5.3) PCArena-Bristol, will attempt to provide support first on the faulty item.
(5.4) If after providing support, PCArena-Bristol deems your item to be faulty, we will ask you to please return the item back for refund or replacement. We will issue you with an RMA number which you must place on your completed RMA form when sending back to us & the correct returns address to send the item back to.
(5.5) All RMA numbers are valid for 28 days, after which you will have to re-apply. The completed Returns (RMA) Form, must then be included with the faulty item and returned to our Returns Department. All items returned to PCArena-Bristol Returns Department are to be returned at the buyers expense. Customers in the UK should return the item via a method that is both traceable & offers sufficient insurance cover if the item goes missing in transit. Customers from Europe or Overseas, please use a traceable mailing company.
(5.6) It is the buyers responsibility to ensure the item is packaged adequately, posted correctly and the item is insured against loss. We are not responsible for any losses or damages to mail while returning returned merchandise. Returned items with signs of abuse or intentional damage will be refused and returned to sender at sender's cost. Please ensure that all contents are included, e.g. manuals, cd roms, cables etc, as this may affect your refund / replacement and the time to process your claim. We will not accept any returns that do not have a valid RMA number & the RMA number clearly displayed on the outside of the package. Items sent back with out an RMA number on the outside will be refused at our delivery site & returned to you.
6 Feedback Policy
(6.1) PCArena-Bristol pride ourselves on making sure each and every customer is satisfied after the sale is complete. If there are any issues or problems please send us an email and we will do our best to resolve the issue. Due to the large number of feedback we receive each day, we rely on eBay's automated system for leaving feedback on receipt of feedback. We leave a like for like feedback, e.g. leave us a positive comment and we will reply with a positive comment. (6.2) We do not answer emails, which are abusive or contain threats of leaving negative feedback and such emails will be reported to eBay. Also requests for feedback to be left will not be answered as the automated system manages this for us.
7 Listings
(7.1) PCArena-Bristol likes to present accurate listings. If you can show us a mistake in a listing that has caused you to buy the incorrect item or for us to supply the incorrect item please contact us so we can resolve the mistake.
(7.2)All images used are subject to change as our supply of items may change & it is not possible for us to keep all the images up to date. We will still supply the same item as the listing describes so if you have any query about the way an item looks you must check with us before making your purchase.
(7.3) We sell a lot of items that are OEM meaning they do not have the retail packaging & limited/no instructions. We try to keep our listing up to date to reflect this however sometimes we may have to supply OEM items although not mentioned in the listing. All OEM items are still brand new & have the same 1 year warranty that retail boxed items have.
