What is Laura’s dress auction?
Laura’s dress auction offers you the chance to bid on exclusive items donated by Laura Whitmore. The auction will run from 4th to 11th April. All the proceeds raised will go to Oxfam’s work around the world.

How does the auction work?
Like any eBay auction, Laura’s dresses auction will run for a set time – 7 days. All lots will be sold to the highest bidder when the auctions close on 11th April. To see the exact timing for any particular lot, please see the auction page.

Do I have to bid on eBay for the items?
Yes - the auction is being run exclusively on the eBay site. You cannot buy these items directly. The only way to get them is to bid and win the auction.

How else can I support Oxfam?
This auction is to promote Oxfam’s Tag Your Bag scheme. Sign up to Tag Your Bag and when you donate items to Oxfam shops we’ll tag them with your unique number. When your items sell you’ll collect 2 Nectar points for each £1 they raise. Sign up at www.oxfam.org.uk/tagyourbag

How will Oxfam spend my winning bid?
The money raised will be unrestricted to Oxfam’s work which means that it can be used where it’s needed most around the world.

How can I pay for my item?
All lots will be sold to the highest bidder, and cleared payment must be received within 7 days. Payment can be made through Paypal, by cheque or UK bank transfer to Oxfam. Please contact us if you are the winner and need details for how to make payment

How quickly will I get my order?
All items will be sent out to your registered eBay address within 2 working days and should arrive within 2 days after that for a total of 4 days (although many items will arrive sooner).

Who do I contact if I have a problem with my order?
Please contact us at the Oxfam ebay shop. Your message will be passed onto our enquiries team.

Where can I find books about Oxfam and its policies?
A wealth of publications, including reports, research, policy documents, and resources for schools and training, is available from our Oxfam Publishing website at www.oxfam.org.uk/publications

What if I have further questions?
