Q1 - I have purchased more than 1 item. Can I get postage discount?
- Yes, postage discount is always given on multiple purchases combined onto 1 invoice. Let us know you have finished shopping, so we can do the invoice discounting p&p.
Q2 - I have purchased several items and have made several payments via paypal. Can I still get postage discount?
- No. Postage discount can only be given on several purchases paid for in one payment. Paypal charge us fees for each individual payment made, and whilst we do not pass these charges on, any discount that we could give has been eaten up in these fees.
Q3 - I want to pay, but I keep getting this message from paypal -'Payment is being refused by the seller'. What has gone wrong?
- No details have changed on our account. We encourage people to pay for their purchases, and would have no reason to refuse payment. Check that the card you are using has a valid date, and your other paypal details are up to date. Paypal credit checks are more stringent than the norm and must be kept up to date.
Q4 - I like this hand crafted gift item, but would like it in a larger/smaller size and/or a different colour. Is that possible?
- Yes, as long as I still have the fabric in my stash, a larger or smaller size is possible. Alternative colourways to the ones shown are also possible as long as the fabric is available. Each special/custom order will be listed in our e.bay shop with your User Id in the item title. Our usual terms and conditions along with e.bay rules of buying/selling then apply.
Q5 - Can I make an offer for an item?
- All our items are set on 'buy it now' for the price shown. However, if you wish to use the 'ask seller a question' link to make a reasonable offer for the item of interest to you, please feel free to do so. We may accept it, or we may not. It would depend on the item and on your offer.
Q6 - I live locally to you. Can I collect my item to save on postage, even though it doesn't say collection only in the item description?
- Yes certainly. Only thing we ask is that it would have to be by prior arrangement to ensure that we are home. Payment can be either made by cash on collection, or by paypal on purchase. We will not accept cheques for items that are collected.
Q7 - I have put a bid on one of your items by mistake. I don't want the item. What do I do?
- E.bay always have a back up plan. If you have bid by mistake, use the 'bid retraction' link to cancel your bid. You could do nothing and hope that someone else will outbid you, but if you are the winning bidder when the item ends then - sorry, but you bid, you won, you buy. We cannot be blamed for a mistake that is made by yourself. Please ensure that you read the item description.
Q8 - I like this item, and I need 2 (or more). Do you have more?
- With the hand crafted items, use the 'ask seller question' link as I may have fabric available to make repeat items as a special/custom listing for you. With all other items, the quantity available is shown in each item description. If more than this number is needed, then sorry no more are available.
Q9 - I want to buy this item, but can't pay for it until I get paid. Can I buy it and pay for it at that time?
- Yes, but you will need to ask us BEFORE making purchase and as long as we are kept informed. If we 'lay away' an item for you until a certain time, when that time has expired, we will expect you to honour the agreement and complete the purchase. No 'penalties' will be applied during the agreed time. E.bay rules and our normal trading terms will come into effect after the time has expired.
Q10 - Do you charge an admin fee or recover any fees via your postage charges, or are they added on at the end?
- The price you see, is the price you pay. We value your custom, and feel privilaged that you have thought us worthy of your custom. We DO NOT charge any admin or service charge. There is no VAT included or added on afterwards. Any fees that we pay are carried by ourselves. We do however charge a small amount to cover packing and mailing materials ie. wrapping and envelope or mailbag, and those are included in our post and packing (p&p) price. Fragile items and larger items are partly wrapped in pre-used packaging to help keep the cost down and help in our effort to re-cycle.
If this page does NOT answer your query, please see our Terms and Conditions page or our About Us page, or 'ask seller a question' through one of our items.
