Remainder Mark

This is a felt-tip line usually across the bottom edge of the book these books are what are known as "Publishers Overstocks" or Remainders and although they are Brand New they are marked this way to denote this fact.

Shelf Wear

Our Books are all Brand New and unused but in some cases they may have suffered some "shelf wear" in which case you will see "Shelf Wear" in the description. Shelf Wear arises as a result of movement of the book on the storage shelves and results in the cover of the book demonstrating slight "scuffing" here and there, otherwise the book is fine. I will always mention if a book has shelf wear of any sort. It is only a superficial thing and in no way spoils the integrity of the book.
