Candy Paints

Otherwise known as a translucent pigmented dye. Normally painted over a silver groundcolour first, allowing the sparkle to shine through the candy paint. Different effects can be achived, depending on what colours are used. A silver ground colour and red candy paint can give anything from a pink to a burgendy. Now put the same red candy over a red groundcolour, and you can end up with anything from a solid deep red finish to a glittery pearl red.
