Sizing

The best piece of advice I can give you is to go to http://pages.ebay.com/sizing/. There you can download printable tape measure in PDF format. Every serious eBay sellers gives the measurements of the clothing hand taken. As I have written in my items’ descriptions ‘It is really important that you know your actual measurements’. This is really essential when shopping on internet, because you can’t try the clothing and see if it fits you.

Jeans/Pants

When picking the right size jeans, you must know your waist band measure. You can take it with the printable tape measure mentioned above. Other important things are the hips, the front and the back rise and the inseam (the length of the trouser) of the jeans. Note that you must have in mind to leave 1, 2, 3 or more inches extra on the waist and the hips sizes, depending on how tight you want the jeans to fit. The front and the back rises give you idea how close the bottom of the jeans will go to your crotch. There are different types of sizes. Most of the Italian designers give the measurements both in ‘size by waist’ (the most common used in eBay) and in Italian. There some little differences between designers, but they are minimal an inch or so.
