What size should I buy?

 Sizes quoted are pre-pregnancy sizes, so if you are normally a 10/12, then you should buy this size. Most garments are elasticated or have ties to adjust for the growth of your body. However, many women will go up one or more dress sizes during pregnancy. The amount of extra weight gain will vary from woman to woman, but most women, especially those who have had children previously, will also buy the next size up. This is for three reasons: Firstly, as mentioned earlier, it allows for any extra weight gain. Secondly, it gives extra comfort during the last trimester of pregnancy. Lastly, our garments are adjustable, so a larger size will still fit well.

* Chest dimensions are given as a general guide; Some styles are elasticated and have a tighter fit, so are a
little smaller than the figures given - see FAQs for more information on fit.

** To allow for breast enlargement during pregnancy, chest dimensions of maternity clothes are larger than
 those of regular clothing. Do not buy maternity clothes according to your pre-pregnancy chest size.

1cm = 0.4 inches        1 inch = 2.54cm

Each listing states the U.K, U.S and Australian size - title sizing reflects the listing country (Note: U.K and Australian sizes are the same).

Notes for U.S Buyers

 U.S garment sizes are extrapolated from U.K sizes. The consensus is that U.S sizes are one size down from U.K sizes - this is the method we use - so a U.S size 8/10 is equivalent to a U.K size 10/12. However, some sellers do sell U.S sizes as two sizes down, so there may be a small margin of error. My recommendation is, when buying elasticated garments, U.S buyers should consider buying one size larger than normal. Garments with tie backs are more generous, so should not be a problem.

Each listing states, just below the size, whether the garment is elasticated or has a tie.
