Moonstone Craft Supplies Standard Terms & Conditions (the small print!)

These terms and conditions apply to all listings unless the listing contains specific instructions to the contrary. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Payment

PayPal is our preferred method of payment and of course there is no additional charge to use this method of payment.

Direct Bank Transfer: We are happy to accept this method of payment and will email our account number and sort code upon request.

Cheque: We would rather you did not pay by cheque.  I you do you must inform us of your intention within 3 days of your purchase & the cheque must be received within 7 days (as per eBay's standard terms).  If paying by personal cheque goods may only be dispatched after payment has cleared.  Please make cheques payable to "LJ Ingleton" and write the eBay item number for your item(s) on the reverse.

Cash: We only accept cash payments for self-collection (see below)

 

Postage & Packing

Self-Collection: If you live in the vicinity of NE Hampshire you are welcome to collect your items by prior arrangement, thus saving all the P&P fees.

Method of dispatch: Most of our packages are sent by Royal Mail First Class Post and a certificate of posting is obtained.  Items are generally dispatched within two working days of payment clearing*.  If you have not received your item(s) after 5 working days please contact us**.  You will receive an automated "item shipped" email when we mark your order as sent

*Generally we do not dispatch items until payment has cleared.  However we may do so, at our discretion, under the following criteria; IF the order value is under £10 AND the buyer is an existing customer OR has a feedback score of >10 with 100% positive feedback OR has a feedback score of >100 with >99% positive feedback..

** Please note that you should allow 28 days for delivery. We cannot be held reponsible for courier delays and consequential loss. Refunds for items delivered within 28 days will be on the basis of unwanted goods (see below).

Postage Rates: As per eBay's terms & conditions our "postage" rates include packing and a nominal handling charge.  Please see the individual listing for the applicable rates.  If combining purchases with different postage rates the highest postage rate will be the primary rate charged with the additional item rates applying for the remaining items.  The combined postage rates are based upon a single PayPal transaction taking place.  For combined purchases from different listings please request a combined invoice BEFORE paying for any of your items to allow us to apply the postage discounts.  Postage overpayments are no longer automatically refunded - please contact us within 10 days to request a refund.

Packaging: We constantly strive to pack our items so no damage occurs whilst minimising both the packing cost and environmental impact.  If you feel your item(s) were not sufficiently well packed, even if no damage occurred (or indeed if they were over-packaged) please let us know so we can modify our packing.  Wherever possible we recycle packing material and would encourage you to recycle the packaging we have used.

Overseas: Currently we only post to the UK. Potential overseas bidders should contact us prior to bidding

 

Returns & Refunds

Faulty or damaged goods: contact us as soon as possible to explain the problem and arrange for the goods to be returned at our expense and for an immediate refund or replacement to be arranged.  However, please note, if the listing states "contents . . may vary, but will be of equal or greater value" variation of the contents may not be considered grounds for refund/replacement

Unwanted Goods: May be returned within 14 days, at the purchaser's expense, for a full refund excluding P&P - provided they are in resalable condition. This also applies to packages returned by Royal Mail (or other couriers) as "undeliverable" or "not called for" (if requested these may be re-sent but additional postage costs will be charged).

 

Product Packaging

Not all of our items are supplied in retail packaging* If the item is in retail packaging this will usually be specified in the listing.  However, our stock may vary so if in doubt please ask for more information.  For items not supplied in retail packaging all relevant safety information and instructions will be included in the eBay listing.  we advise that you print a copy of the listing for future reference.  You will also be provided with a receipt with our contact details.  This should also be retained.

Our items are not suitable for children under 36 months unless stated otherwise

* Retail packaging: Our definition is packaging which is suitable for sale in a retail premises.  It will include all relevant safety information and instructions plus manufacturer or supplier contact details

 

Non Payers

Please contact us as soon as possible if you are having a problem paying.  If you haven't contacted us & no payment is received in 7 days an unpaid item dispute may be started.  If there is still no response from you after a further 8 days the dispute will be closed resulting in an unpaid item strike on your eBay record ...

 

Feedback

We always leave feedback when we know you are happy with your purchase(s). If you don't want to be the first to leave feedback, simply send us an email to let us know you got your order okay and we will leave you feedback. We appreciate that feedback is voluntary and we will never hassle you to leave us feedback.

Our priority is not feedback but for you to be happy with your purchase and to recommend us to all your friends! So please do email us if there is a problem or anything we can do to improve our service - we really would prefer to be given the opportunity to sort things out before you leave feedback.

 

Privacy

We will not pass your details on to any third parties unless ordered to by a court of law.  Your details will be held securely and we will only contact you regarding your purchase from us (eg in the event of a product recall).  We will only send promotional emails if you elect to subscribe to our mailing list.  We do not "spam" our customers.
