LOST ITEMS
Here at Models4hobby we take missing parcels very
seriously. We will do everything we can to help find your parcel.
We introduced invoice bar code scanning which ties
into the address delivery system which lets us have reports of dispatch
and delivery, even on non - signed for parcels as it generates a UPI
number for all parcels which is tagged to the Royal Mail / Courier
address label, this has proved very useful ,so useful that we have used
it to locate many a claimed lost parcel to help customers who have
missed the postman and have the parcel redivered.
Our company policy on lost
items
-
We will answer all queries within 24hrs of receipt
(Mon to Fri, excluding Bank Holidays)

items to be reported to Royal Mail / Delivery service to be
investigated as soon as we are alerted to a problem, when sending via
small parcels the Lost & Fraud team of Royal Mail will
check the postal round and carry out checks regarding the missing

For
accounts below 100 feedback we will contact eBay customer
services to have account checked (Due to
most False claims by low feedback members)

abusive emails or false claims caught will be reported and appropriate
action taken.
Please
note that Royal Mail won't acknowledge a missing parcel till 10 working
days (21 for overseas) have passed.
As online fraud is a major problem the UPI is also
used to take appropriate
action against those placing a false claim which
includes criminal
prosecution
on every false
claim no matter the cost of the item as we have a NO
TOLERENCE approach to these
people and believe in making the on line buying a safe place to trade. (over 100+ successfully arrested for theft
