Welcome to my shop………………… I am a fanatical book collector and share a house with 7,000 books. My main interests are in Detective Stories and Thrillers, particularly the Golden Age. I have over 1500 detective stories and thrillers in my own collection.
I sell a mixture of books in my shop, so I am sure you will find something here to while away a dark night. There are usually plenty of detective stories and thrillers. I also sell what ebay calls ‘literary fiction’. These include many classics, plus modern novels. I try to find both rare and popular titles to keep a bit of variety in the listings.
I like rescuing old paperback editions, especially early Orange and Green Penguins from the ignominy of bargain book stores and uniting them with like minded collectors.
I have also recently decided to sell my father’s history book collection, which amounts to several hundred titles, so over the next few months I will be listing these alongside the rest. If you are looking for a particular title from the last 50 years or so, please feel free to message me as I may well have a copy. The collection mainly consists of history books covering Russian and European history in the medieval to modern period.
