Z-axis complete  with stepper motor, Limit switch, connection diagram (data sheet), Small milling spindle (135 Watt/230 volt with case and 2 year warranty) delivered ready to bolt on, fully tested and inspected.

The stepper motor is a Nema 23 (57x57 mm). Transmission is via a toothed belt  reaching speeds of 20 - 30 mm per second. The stepper motor is bipolar with four connecting cables, there is also a limit switch (micro switch) attached to the Z-axis.

The 2 carriage guide rails are hardened Carbon Steel, diameter 12mm (h6), polished, and free from play. Fitted with ball bushings, for optimised performance making this maintenance-free and requires minimal perodic lubrication.

The leadscrew is a trapezoid 12x3, offering 90mm stroke. Located at both ends with fixed and floating bearings.

We use this milling spindle in our CNC machines, revolutions can be regulated from 8000 to 26000 U/min.
