 | Q: Why do you not ship to Italy? |
 | A: For shipments to other countries I will not ship anything that is on the list of restrictions published by the US Postal Service. Everything I sell is on the list of restricted items for Italy. Regrettably, this is out of my control so I will not ship goods to Italy. |
 | Q: Why was the fabric I received a different color than what I saw on the screen? |
 | A: Colors you see on your screen can vary from an actual object based on brands of monitors as well as your personal settings (bright, contrast, temperature). I try to include a statement in my ads as a reminder that colors could be off due to differences is displays, and offer to send a swatch if the actual colors are critical to your project. |
 | Q: Where do you purchase your fabric? |
 | A: Most of my fabric is purchased directly from companies with a solid reputation for quality. If I find some irresistible fabric locally that would make a cute scrub hat, I may add that to my eBay store if I don't have time to sew it. I do not sell used fabric, pre-washed fabric, or fabric that has been returned for any reason. |
 | Q: What is your return policy? |
 | A: It is my hope that my products will exceed your expectations. But, if you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you may return it within 14 days after receipt. |
 | Q: Do you combine shipping? |
 | A: Absolutely, if you purchase items from multiple listings please wait for me to send a consolidated invoice so shipping will be properly calculated. You will probably get an automated email with a "Pay Now" button - ignore the first one, I will send another one after double checking to be sure you are not being overcharged for shipping. |
 | Q: When can I expect my order to arrive? |
 | A: Orders are generally shipped the day after payment is received. Occasionally I get behind and it may take a day or two longer. It generally takes first class mail 3-5 days to arrive, Priority Mail 2-3 days, and international mail 5-10 days. These are averages and it may take more or less. |
 | Q: Are there any hidden shipping costs? |
 | A: I charge actual cost to ship goods. No additional charge for insurance, no handling fees of any kind. If a customer pays more than it costs me to ship an item, I will refund the difference or offer additional product, whichever option the customer selects. |
 | Q: Do you ship internationally? |
 | A: Yes, I will ship to to Canada, Australia, and some European countries. I ship via the US Postal Service, International Mail. Transit time is published to be 5 to 10 days. (Subject to any restrictions that may be imposed by individual countries, as posted on the USPS's web site.) |
 | Q: Why not offer Free Shipping on everything? |
 | A: If the cost of the product includes the cost to ship it and you are buying more than one item from a seller at a time you are likely being overcharged for the second, third, etc, item. I try to list my items with their actual weight so that when checking out, all the item individual weights are added together and you are charged the actual amount. |
 | Q: Can I purchase a pattern of your scrub hats? |
 | A: No, not at this time. I do not have the time or resources to produce a professional pattern for my sewn products. |
 | Q: For sewn items, do you prewash your fabric? |
 | A: I used to prewash all my fabric, but have discontinued this practice for three reasons: First, I live in the country and have really hard water. Second, I do not have time to prewash and dry the fabric. Third, my electric bill doubled this year and I don't want to increase my prices for electricity consumption related to producing my products. |
 | Q: Why are your scrub hats different prices? |
 | A: I get many inquiries about my prices. I base my pricing primarily on what it costs to produce and ship a hat. Factors affecting price include what I paid for the fabric, how far I drove to get it, whether I made it or paid my mother for helping me, the popularity of the design or designer, how long the hat has been in my inventory, etc. |
