COMMISSION A PIECE

Commissioning a piece is purrfectly easy here at Majestikart.

The price of the custom commissioned piece will be determined by size, and level of detail. Please e-mail us at majestikart@aol.com with the subject line "Commission" to discuss your requirements.

Please be sure to contact us well in advance of any deadline since Vicky does have a waiting list.

After we discuss the details of your piece, we will quote you the total price for the work with shipping costs, and place you on the waiting list, we will then give you an approximate date that Vicky will begin working on your commission.

Once started most commissions can be completed and shipped within 4 weeks, unless otherwise stated when you place your order.

TRADITIONALLY HAND DRAWN

All of my Commissions are hand drawn, It takes many hours to complete each one.

It can take any where form 48 hours to 124 hours to complete.

I never rush any of my piece's, every one is unique so the amount of time it takes to complete each piece differs to the next, depending upon the complexity and the medium of the commissioned piece.

A Commissioned piece is a great way to honour your pets, both past and present, in a unique and timeless way!

THE PROCESS

Step 1 - Your Photographs (pet portraits only)
Vicky requires clear good quality photograph close up and if possible another good quality photograph that shows the colouring, markings and the pose, if you require more than one pet on one piece Vicky prefers to work using two photographs one of each pet, Don't worry Vicky can put them together on the piece. You can either email your photographs to majestikart@aol.com with the subject line "Commission".

Step 2 - Progress and feedback
Once you have decided on the size you require, we can then discuss timescales, backgrounds, and compositions. You can have as little input or as much as you wish.

Step 3 - Making Payment
First Vicky will make a mock up of your commission for your approval, Once Vicky begins working on your commission we require 50% of the total up front to cover material costs and as a deposit.

Step 4 - Progress and feedback
Once the mock up has been approved and payment made, Vicky will begin adding the colour, and from then on the stages of your commission will be sent via email,so you can check the progress and make any alterations, feel free to email us at any stage of the process, we want you to be happy this is your commission.

Step 5 - Approval and final payment
You will receive digital images by e-mail of the completed piece for you to approve before we send you an invoice for the remaining total amount due.
