Service Standard Delivery Timelines:
Canadian Residents
Lettermail - 2 - 8 business days.
Expedited Parcel - 2 - 7 business days.
US Residents
Letter Post - 6 - 12 business days.
Small Packet - Air - 9 - 11 business days
Small Packet - Ground - 10 - 14 business days.
Expedited Parcel - 4 - 10 business days.
International Residents (outside Canada and the US)
Letter Post - 6 - 12 business days.
No parcel service through our eBay store to International destinations outside Canada and the US - contact us at sales@shopmillerlake.com or visit our website at shopmillerlake.com.
All rates are in US funds. Items are generally shipped within 24-48 hours on business days after receiving payment. eBay will send you a notification when we mark your order as shipped. If you require your item sooner, please contact us for rates and timelines. We will gladly combine shipping rates for our products. Because it is difficult to determine the rates on combined auctions without knowing what those items are, we indicate a standard rate, or a discounted rate for certain products (such as postcards or quantities in auctions). If you will be purchasing several products and wish to know the combined rate, please do not hesitate to contact us as sales@shopmillerlake.com, and provide us with your postal/zip code. We will be pleased to quote you a rate.
Most listings for smaller products that are generally shipped via Lettermail or Letter Post have a shipping box embedded into the listing that will show you the combined shipping rate for that product, as well as other information. The eBay calculator does not work for combined Lettermail or Letter Post products because of Canada Post thickness and weight restrictions. Therefore, please check the box that we put in our listings and wait for our combined invoice before you pay. If you pay and end up with the high rate, we will credit your PayPal account to the correct shipping rate where applicable.
Combined shipping rates and shipping specials only apply to combined auctions on the same invoice. If you are waiting to bid on additional auctions, please contact us so we may hold your invoice. Auctions must be combined within ten (10) days and payment is due upon completion.
We generally ship via Canada Post. We also use FedEx. However, we cannot ship to a P.O. Box using FedEx. If you choose a method of shipping other than what is listed in the auction, the rate will be higher. Please contact us for rates. Our team works out of an office/shop that is not open to the public. We are not open for pick-ups.
Shipping Specials & Promotions
From time to time, we offer shipping specials for parcel items to Canadian and US residents. While we do ship parcel items to international customers on a regular basis, we do not through eBay. This is because shipping from Canada to international destinations is very expensive and ground service is very slow. This affects our detailed seller ratings and subsequently our monthly discount from eBay. Therefore, we only sell items that can be shipped via Letter Post to destinations outside North America.
Shipping specials for Canada are for Canadian Residents only. Shipping specials for United States are for US Residents only. We will not ship parcel items to addresses outside North America through eBay. Should this policy change in the future, we will indicate so on this page, in our policies and on our FAQ page. We generally run shipping specials for Worldwide customers on postcards and advertisements.
When making purchases for combined shipping, please do not pay until you are finished shopping. That way your shipping rate will be adjusted and everything will be shipped together.
All advertised specials, promotions, etc. are subject to change without notice. We generally run various seasonal specials, as well as monthly specials.
Duties, Taxes and Brokerage (where applicable)
Certain items are subject to duties, taxes and brokerage charges. Please make sure you know the regulations of your country. We are not responsible for any of these charges. We will not mark your package as a "gift". The value of the goods is the purchase price only. The shipping is not included in the value of goods for brokerage purposes.
Insurance
All parcels sent via "Expedited Parcel" are automatically insured up to $100.00. If your item is insured by our carrier and it is lost or damaged, we will deal with the claim - we don't expect you to. Please keep in mind that we can only put in a claim after the shipping date timeframe that our carrier allows. We do whatever we can to speed up the process.
Returns
If you are not satisfied with our product due to a fault on our part, please contact us right away at sales@shopmillerlake.com. Please provide us with the Ebay item ID, as well as the description of the item(s) you have purchased, along with the reason for your concern. We will work with you to resolve the situation. Please do not return an item unless we give you a return authorization #. Upon receipt of the item(s) in the same condition that it arrived to you, we will refund your money - less shipping and handling. If we determine fault on our part, we will refund your money, including shipping and handling. If we are able to offer you another product in its place, we will endeavour to do so.
Feedback
Feedback is very important to us. We leave feedback for you as soon as we ship your item (within 24 - 48 hours of your payment). We strive for 100% customer satisfaction - in our products and in our service.
