PACKAGING All books will be wrapped in acid-free tissue paper, bubble-wrap and strong, high-quality boxes.
SHIPPING Books will be shipped by Royal Mail or, in the case of heavier items, DHL Couriers or similar companies and I only use services with online tracking (usually requiring a signature on delivery). I aim to ship within 3 working days of receipt of payment. Buyers are responsible for any import duties or customs charges on international shipments.
PAYMENT Payment may be made by Paypal, by personal cheque in £ sterling only, or by Electronic Funds Transfer. Please note that Paypal takes up to 2 weeks to clear echeque payments into my account and items will be shipped immediately thereafter.
RETURNS Any Buy-It-Now or Ebay Shop purchase may be returned if you are not happy with it providing I am notified within 7 days of your receiving it. The item must be returned by the same or similar method to that by which it was sent to you. Payment already received will be refunded in full immediately upon my receipt of the item in the same condition as it was received by you. Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense.
INSURANCE Full insurance against loss or damage of books in transit is included at no extra cost. My insurer requires written notification of loss and pictorial evidence of damage where appropriate before they will attend to claims, which are usually settled within 4-6 weeks.
