Returns policy

Unwanted Items

You can return an item within 30 days by sending the notice of cancellation by email to sales@lakeland-furniture.co.uk ensuring that you quote your name, address and order reference number.

We will then instruct you on how to proceed 

Please note however, that all returned goods must be in a full un-used condition, unless the item(s) are faulty or defective.

PLEASE NOTE: ONCE YOU HAVE ASSEMBLED YOUR PRODUCT WE CAN NOT ISSUE A REFUND.

We charge for return postage (if you use our service) and 5% restocking charge. Your statutory rights are not affected.

 

Damaged Items

Damage must be reported within 48hrs of receiving the goods.  Please inorm us of any damage by email to sales@lakeland-furniture.co.uk ensuring that you quote your name, address and order reference number.  Please include any photos of the damage to the item or packaging.

 

Simple Price Beating Criteria

We check all our prices every day against our competitors to make sure we offer the best price.
In the unlikely event that there is a competitor offering exactly the same product, they have it in stock and it is available for immediate delivery then we will beat it.
No catches or tricky exceptions.

The Product on our competitor’s site is identical to one we sell
The Product must be in stock with the competitor and available for delivery within 48 hours
The Product is in stock with us
We are able to verify the offer

 

Guarantee

All of the furniture products we import come with a two (2) year manufacturer's guarantee, covering product replacement or repair only  Items not covered by the (2) year warranty will have a minimum (1) year warranty and this will be cleary stated in the product details. If within two (2) year of purchase, your product fails due to quality of craftsmanship, please contact our Customer Service Department immediately.
 

Guarantee Exclusions

Normal shrinkage, swelling, hairline cracks and minor warpage of wide boards on furniture is to be expected and is not a structural defect and is therefore not covered.

Some furniture requires some routine maintenance. Please take care to treat your furniture like the fine product it is. Proper care and use are essential to preserving your rights under this guarantee. Lakeland-furniture will not replace or repair your furniture if improper maintenance or improper use causes damage. This guarantee does not apply if your product is damaged by the use of detergents, abrasives or other harsh cleaning agents.

This guarantee does not cover damage resulting from negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents: including burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, indentations or pet damage

The guarantee does not apply to items offered at discounted levels.

In case of a claim, please follow this procedure
Please take photos of the damage on the furniture, and send it to sales@lakeland-furniture.co.uk in a digitized format to enable us to assess the defect or damage. If the defect or damage passes as a manufacturer's defect, We will advise you to 1) get an estimate for a repair, or  2) will authorize a replacement.
