| Terms and conditions:
- All of our items are subject to availability. We have a shop in Ryde High Street as well as selling by mail order, therefore it is sometimes possible for us to sell out of particular items before we have time to adjust the availability on ebay. Usually, we are able to obtain further supplies within a matter of days. If this is not the case then you will be notified. If you wish to check availability before ordering then please Contact Us at kitted_out.ryde@yahoo.co.uk Full refunds will be given for any out of stock items ordered.
- All our stock is new, unless Military Surplus, where items will be Notified as such.
- Please remember to specify size and colour where appropriate when you make your payment. Do not get it wrong as it will cost you to return items & get a replacement. Sending payment to us via post complete with name, delivery address and ebay item number. (includeding a print off is best).
- All Items will be advertise with as accurate as possible information, as indicated by the product itself, or suppliers info sheets. Therefore it is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the product is correct for them, before making a purchase. This can be done via the e-bay Questions facility. We cannot be held responsible for a 'Mistaken Purchase', and a refund request will be solely & our discrection / goodwill.
- All items must be paid for within 4 days of the auction ending or the purchase made. After 7 days the item will be re-listed and a non-paying strike will be issued against you by ebay.
- Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay, or do not intend to pay via the requested Payment Method, which is always by Cheque / Postal in Post.
- PAYMENT METHODS We accept payment by cheques drawn on UK banks & Made out in Sterling Pounds. NOT EUROS. (Details will be supplied when checking-out to pay after purchase / winning bid is made) Also accept Postal Orders.
- PAYPAL Although we have a Paypal account, we prefer not to receive payment this way as a transacton fee is deducted from the amount we receive. This does not help us offer the lowest price possible, as it adds even more to our costs. A lot of 'New' Ebay buyers do not realise that when they use this facility, they are not paying all of their payment to the Seller, but in fact paying some of it to Paypal. Ebay is a very competetive market place & in most cases items are offered for sale with miniscule profit margins, & in most cases, any amount paid to Paypal, will wipe out that margin & render the sale unviable.
- DELIVERY Most of our items sent to UK addresses are sent by first class, recorded delivery or Special delivery. (Usually 24 hrs). Heavier items will be sent via standard parcel post, which can take 3-4 days to arrive.
- Non-Delivery Depite the public perception of Royal Mails perfomance, the rate of their successfully completed deliveries are incredibly high, & I do not experience many problems. In most reported cases that they investigate when items are reported missing, the fault usually lies with the sender or the receiving address. We make sure all our parcels are professionally packaged & labelled so there can be no mistakes. We only send to the address details that you provide. We obtain a proof of posting for all items sent & keep records of that for any enquiries. Once we have done that, the responsibility for the delivery then lies with the Royal Mail. If you have any problems with your Postman or receiveing mail, then we respectfully ask that you should speak to your Main Post office for them to deal with any problems you may have.
- All despatch times are estimates. We will do our best to despatch your goods as soon as possible but delays may occur over bank holidays etc.
- REFUND POLICY We do not sell goods on approval. You cannot return an item because you don't like it / doesn't fit / not required etc. This is Legally known as a "Mistaken purchase", & it is our perogative whether we accept the item back or exchange. Goods that are faulty will be refunded or replaced at our discretion. If you have ordered the wrong size of an item etc. then we will happily exchange for an alternative size if you pay an additional sum for postage and packaging, and goods are returned to us in original saleable condition. Remember you can always ask us any question you like to ensure that the item you are intersted in, really is suitable for your purpose BEFORE purchasing it. Once you have made the purchase a whole lot of activity that costs us money & time goes into action, and the end result is nearly always a happy customer. If this is not the case & we have made a mistake, then we will as expected, put it right at our expense. We are not, however in the position to pay for expenses that are not of our doing, as we are assured you will understand and deem reasonable.
- PRODUCT COMPLAINTS If you have a complaint with any product purchased from us & wish to return it for an exchange or refund, this must be agreed by us before hand. All postage costs occured in return & replacement are at your own expense.
- REFUND PAYMENTS Where a refund has been agreed, this will be in the form of a Cheque sent in post. Ebay cancellation procedures will usually be applied, through the "Dispute Console", & customers will be expected to co-operate fully with these procedures.
- PAYPAL REFUNDS Where an original payment was accepted (By Exception) via Paypal, we would have been charged a paypal transaction fee, & this would have been deducted from the amount we actually received. (usually on average approx 7% of the Item & Postage total amount. ) Where a refund is agreed, this amount will be deducted from the final amount refunded, as it is not recoverable. Customers receiving a refund through a mutual cancellation of the sale, must, with respect, agree to co-operate with us through the e-bay 'Dispute Console', to ensure we are re-inbursed our e-bay listing & sale fee for the item.
- For customers who have been used to shopping with Kitted-Out direct at our Farnham Shop, I regret to anounce that due to re-location, the shop is now Closed. We Now have a new shop in Ryde, on the Isle-of-Wight. Callers are most welcome.
- To shop for mail orders please just Post us your order, along with payment, & we will disptch your requirments immediately. Many thanks.
