Terms & Conditions, Returns, Payment, P&P, Feedback & Other Boring but Necessary Stuff
Sometimes I think it would be easier to specialise in one range of goods but being a compulsive shopper and hoarder for my whole life it is impossible. Therefore you will find anything from a thimble to a dinner service, badges, medals, craft supplies or the weird and wacky up for sale in my shop kats kiosk - basically it is whatever takes my fancy at the time.
Unless the auction listing states otherwise you are bidding on a second hand item which will have signs of wear and tear commensurate with use. I try to include several photographs and describe flaws and faults so that you know what you will be getting. The trouble is I am not perfect and I may on occasions get something wrong. If this should happen and you receive an item that is not as described please tell me within 7 days of receipt and I will give you postal instructions for return. I offer a full refund policy no ifs, buts or maybes.
If an item has been damaged in transit please retain the item and packaging and contact me immediately so that a claim can be made with Royal Mail.
If you have purchased something and you are not 100% delighted with it, or have changed your mind and don't want it, then you must inform me of this within 14 days of receipt. You can then return the item by trackable means, and as long as I receive it back in the same condition I sent it, I will refund the initial cost of postage and cost of item but the return postage/carriage will be at the buyers expense.
I would ask that payment is made within 7 days of the listing ending. Should you have a problem with this just contact me, sadly I am not clairvoyant I don’t know you will be on holiday or want to wait as you hope to purchase something finishing in a weeks time for combined postage. Flexibility is the name of the game but I do need a helping hand.
If payment is not made I will open an unpaid item dispute with eBay and if no payment received within 7 days close the dispute informing eBay that the transaction has not been completed.
Postage & Packaging
The listings will have details of the P&P fees which will be applied. This figure will include a charge for the packaging so it is not just the stamp price.
YES I do offer combined P&P, simply request a combined invoice before paying or wait for me to send you one. Otherwise I am faffing around sending tiny refunds back and forth, as your eBay invoice will just double, and triple etc the P&P element.
There are occasions when I will NOT offer combined postage and packing and that is if the items are large, heavy or delicate and packing them together in one parcel would result in disaster, this is non-negotiable.
Please note that all customs duties and clearances are the responsibility of the buyer.
I will not make false declarations on customs documents ie undervalue your goods or mark it as a gift in order for you to avoid any duties so please don’t ask me to do this.
Methods of Payment
UK buyers –Cheques drawn on a UK bank, UK postal orders, bank transfers or Paypal payments.
Overseas buyers – Paypal payments.
Paypal E-Cheque Instant Payments
I am giving these a paragraph of their own, as they are without doubt a pain in the proverbial. Sorry there is nothing instant about them apart from giving me a headache. They are taking anything from 10-14 days to clear and I have had payments take even longer. If you pay by this method then I will send you an eBay message to inform you that there will be a delay in the despatch of your item and I will notify you as and when it clears and the date of posting, which will normally be one and the same.
Sorry I do not accept personal collections.
I will be the first to admit that I am not the quickest at leaving it, so if this is a problem for you then perhaps I am not the seller for you. My number one priority has and will continue to be getting your items packed safely and posted as quickly as I can, everything else comes later.
What Can You Expect From Me
An accurate description, secure and safe packaging, prompt despatch and an email confirming receipt of payment and the date of despatch of your item. In the unlikely event that there is a problem I will respond ASAP and a solution will be found.
