Ornamental Coldwater Fish & Bonsai

 

 Ornamental coldwater fish

 

All of our fish are double bagged with pure oxygen and then placed in a sturdy double walled box. The boxes are lined with bubble film to minimise temperature fluctuations during shipment. You will be contacted by email once the auction has ended, to arrange a delivery date and to ensure an adult will be available to receive your newly purchased fish. All fish are shipped overnight by a reliable courier, allowing your fish to be delivered healthy and in a safe and timely manner. Payment is expected within 3 days of the end of the auction. Fish will not be held for longer than 4 days after the end of the auction unless agreed with customer.

 

We do not expect any losses during shipment, as all our fish are closely monitored for health issues and receive a final health check prior to shipment. Any fish found to be less than 100% healthy during its final health check will not be shipped. The buyer will be notified of the reason for non-shipment and will be fully refunded. If any losses do occur during shipment KK&B will, at our discretion refund the cost of any fish less shipping charges. We do not accept the responsibility of the health of a fish that is not accepted on the specified delivery date or at the time of the first delivery attempt. 

 

KK&B will not accept responsibility for the demise of a customer’s existing stock that coincides with the introduction of our fish. As you can appreciate, health problems may already exist within a customer’s pond, only becoming evident when coinciding with the introduction of our fish. While fish purchased from us are from reputable importers, are fully quarantined and are kept in the best of health, we would recommend that all fish purchased from any supplier are quarantined in an appropriate manner before introducing them into your pond.

 

Our Local Environmental Health Authority inspects our business each year, before authorising the renewal of our license. The inspection covers our fish stocks, our importers and suppliers, display ponds, filter systems, fish handling and bagging, treatments and fish health advice. Fish that damage themselves while in the display ponds are assessed immediately as to whether they require hospitalising or not. Fish with minor injuries are often treated successfully within the display ponds, removing the potential stress from netting and handling them. Fish health advice is freely available from us and we will help customers with fish health problems as much as we possibly can.

 

Due to the nature of fish, we cannot be responsible for them after they have been introduced into your pond. All fish sales are final and to ensure the health of our stocks, we will not accept fish returns back into our ponds. Please follow the acclimatisation procedure instructions included with every shipment.

Bonsai

All of our bonsai are cared for and maintained by ourselves until immediately prior to shipment. Great care is taken when packaging the bonsai ready for despatch. They are securely packaged in a way that minimises any potential for damage during shipping. In the unlikely event of a bonsai being damaged on arrival, KK&B will, at our discretion refund the cost of the bonsai less shipping charges. You must notify us within 24 hours from delivery of any damages. Payment is expected within 3 days of the end of the auction. Bonsai will not be held for longer than 4 days after the end of the auction unless agreed with the customer.

 

KK&B will not accept responsibility for the deterioration of a bonsai after it has been received safely by the customer. A general care guide for indoor or outdoor bonsai will be issued with every shipment. Help and advice is freely available from us via email, although we try our best to reply to emails the same day, this is not always possible, so please be patient.
