| Hongkong Post announced today (November 24) that the last date for posting Christmas mail for international delivery before Christmas Day will be December 6. Postings after this date might run the risk of not being delivered in time because of the anticipated seasonal work pressure. Members of the public are advised to post mail as early as possible in order to avoid a last-minute rush.
During the Christmas holidays (i.e. December 26 and 27), there will be no mail delivery. All post offices will be closed except the General Post Office and the Airport Post Office.
To ensure that greetings sent by air mail are delivered before Christmas, members of the public are reminded to post their mail on or before the last dates for posting as listed below:
Asia: December 6
America: December 7
Europe: December 6
All items sent after the date above may arrived after Xmas holidays. Thanks! |
