The faces off at events 'Weekend of Champions Night 2, Generation Now, and then famously at 'Unified', in a Title v Title match in Liverpool, England.
The 2 then brought their rivalry to PPV, facing off in ROH's 2nd PPV 'Driven' in a match that similarly to Unified, finished high up on that years Match of the Year list, rated **** 3/4 by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
