Homicide has the longest reign with the title, holding it for 476 days before losing it to Bryan Danielson on January 14, 2006.
During Ring of Honor’s, the sister promotion of FIP, Fifth Year Festival, they ran two shows in Liverpool, England. At the first show on March 3, 2007, Roderick Strong turn the title into the FIP World Heavyweight Championship after successfully defending it against PAC. Strong also went on to become the first-ever 2-time FIP Champion, when he defeated Erick Stevens for the title on February 18, 2008 at ‘FIP: Redefined’
