If the item you have purchased is going to be sent by a courier service then it’s important that you know that this delivery service is a signed for service!
Item(s) purchased Monday to Friday before 2:00pm (14:00 hrs) will be sent out the same day for delivery next working day.
Item(s) purchased after 2:00pm (14:00 hrs) will be sent out the following working day. To confirm when your purchased goods will be delivered, we will send you email conformation on the day the item has been sent. It is very important that when you receive this email that you understand that your goods will be delivered next working day.
Note to customers who’s orders are placed/received after 2:00pm (14:00 hrs) Mon-Fri. Your order may still be sent out the same day. Once again, all customers who goods are to be delivered by courier will be informed by email when their goods have been sent for delivery next working day.
All courier service deliveries will only be delivered Mon – Fri between the hours of 08:00 and 6:00pm this excludes weekends and Bank Holidays!
Once you have purchased your item it is very important that someone will be at the delivery address provided and to sign for the purchased good. Our courier company will only attempt delivery twice (2 times) over a 72 hours, at which point on each attempted delivery they will leave/post a calling card informing you that they have attempted delivery but no one answered the door. This card will provide you with information including a telephone number, requesting that you get in touch with the courier company and inform them to which day will be best for delivery or that you intend to collect the item yourself from the delivery company.
Once again if the item(s) is not collected or receipt of delivery is also not accepted then after 72hrs (3 working days) your goods will be returned back to us
at which point they will not be redelivered until minimum redelivery fee of £6.50 is paid. If the customers total weight of goods purchased is 20kgs or over then additional redelivery postage fees will apply as indicated; First 20kgs £9.99 and thereafter every 1kg over the first 20kgs will be charged at £0.45p per kg.
If the customer requests a redirection to an alternative delivery address after the goods have been dispatched, this service can be provided at an additional fee of £6.50. This is the fee we are charged for this service by the courier company.
We provide this information to assist and help all of our customers to keep costs down.
If no one will be at your address, then please provide an alternative address like a place of work!
Important Note: If your goods are returned back to us because all deliveries failed, then you goods can only be resent after you have paid for the full postage once again!! Return postage cost will be the same cost as when the item(s) was first purchased and sent. ....We are sorry but we do not offer a free postage service, we too have to pay for the service.
Cancellations and returns
Cancellations or alterations to orders must be made within 24 hours of ordering via the eBay email system. Customers who receive a shortage of goods or have a concern or complaint must notify Ironing World Supplies within 7 days of your item(s) receipt in email via the eBay email system. As part of our seller return policy we accept all returns from customers within the stated time period of 7 days of item(s) receipt. As part of the information we provide on each of the items(s) for sale, we endeavour to ensure that the description of the item(s) advertised or sold on eBay is accurate, therefore if you decide to return any part or full amount of your order purchased then Ironing World Supplies will provide a refund only on the item(s) not the postage. In the event of an item(s) being returned due to damages, shortages or otherwise Ironing World Supplies will provide a refund on all money paid. However this can only be issued when the buyer returns part or all of the respective item(s) purchased. Return items are the responsibility of the buyer and it is their responsibility to ensure that all item(s) being returned are properly secured and packaged either in the same packaging or a replacement one. It is also the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that all item(s) a safely returned. Any missing item(s) not accounted for will not receive a full refund.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to contact us first via email to obtain re returns number. Any goods must not be returned to us without our prior consent or knowledge. |
