EASTER POSTING SCHEDULE
Wednesday 4th April 2012 - This is the last day Royal Mail permit us to post Live Insects or Guarantee delivery. We can only accept orders for same day despatch until 12noon on Wed 4th.
Thursday 5th April. NO LIVEFOOD POSTED
Friday 6th April - Monday 9th April - We are CLOSED and will NOT post any orders.
Tuesday 10th April - Normal Service Resumes, please be aware this is a very busy day so orders will be despatched on a first come first served basis, some orders may be packed and despatched the following day. Order early to avoid disappointment.
Please bear in mind that we are doing all we can to ship as soon as we can at every stage, we have contractual limitations with regards live insects due to an increased risk of delay over busy periods. We are here to help you achieve complete satisfaction.
At Internet Reptile we aim to keep all our delivery charges to a minimum and DO NOT profit on these prices.
We aim to dispatch all live food that can be sent by Royal Mail the SAME DAY when you pay before 12noon. This applies Mon-Friday (as no deliveries are sent at the weekend). If you pay after 12noon we aim to send your order the following working day. (Please note Friday Dispatch is at own risk as weekend deliveries are unreliable.
For all other items we are generally able to dispatch the same day in many cases and ensure all items are dispatched no longer then 2 working days after purchase. (Any item or items that are sent by courier are posted Monday to Thursday as per our courier collection days).
DELIVERY CHARGES
Please review the item page for delivery options and costs. Express delivery is almost always available and highly recommended if you need an order urgently or wish to track it.
If an item needs to go by courier for any reason (e.g. you select it, the total parcel weight is 2kg or more or any other reason) then surcharges will apply to the following postcode areas. We do not want to remove our services to buyers from these regions as many lightweight orders can be sent by Royal Mail, but please bear this in mind as we will have no option to do so if it causes issues with feedback or customer service.

DELIVERY CHARGES (Multiple Items)
If you buy multiple items we offer a capped postage rate of £5.95. THIS IS FULLY AUTOMATED, JUST ENSURE YOU PAY FOR ALL YOUR ITEMS TOGETHER IN ONE PAYPAL TRANSACTION. - If for any reason the combined delivery charges do not calculate automatically DO NOT PAY SEPARATELY, simply request a total and we will amend it for you as quickly as possible.
THE SAME POSTCODE RESTRICTIONS APPLY AS ABOVE, as once the postage rates reach £5.95 it is more than likely your order will need to be sent by courier and restrictions will apply to the postcodes above so please check when buying multiple items if you do fall under any of the postcode groups. IF WE CAN SEND BY ROYAL MAIL WE WILL DO TO TRY AND SAVE YOU MONEY, BUT DO ALLOW US TO CHECK THE ORDER BEFORE YOU MAKE ANY PURCHASE.
Delivery Times
Royal Mail first class post is usually received one day after dispatch (about 90% of mail), but in can and does sometimes take longer, it is entirely normal for post to take between 1 and 4 working days to arrive. Neither first class or first class recorded parcels are trackable and the claim period for lost parcels is 15 days. (We have an internal claim process for insects which is applicable after 4 working days as such orders are perishable and often important).
Courier orders are received next working day (Mon-Fri) in almost all circumstances and are trackable. This allows a swifter claim process depending on the courier used.
WHEN ESTIMATING DELIVERY PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WE CANNOT POST COURIER ORDERS FOR LIVEFOOD ON A FRIDAY SO PLEASE ADD AN EXTRA DAY FOR THIS.
