Measurement Guide for a Wedding/Braidsmaids/Prom dress
To ensure accurate measurements, we suggest having your measurements taken by a professional seamstress. Alternatively you can ask someone to help you complete the measurement by following this guide to ensure proper fit.
1. Wedding gown is sized differently than ready to wear clothes. It is very important that you use this guide in conjunction with the size chart to help you determine your size in order to save time and money.
2. All measurements should be taken while the bride wearing the undergarments as the day of wedding.
3. Be sure to stand up straight with your arms relaxed down by your side.
4. Comparing the measurement data with our standard size chart to determine whether you should order a standard size from us according to our size chart or you should order it made2measure from us.
Order standard size: Please be aware the different gown factory has different standard size definition. You need follow our size chart guide and not the others. So please measure yourself and compare your measured data with the size chart we provided. The measurement determines the closest size to be ordered. Not all brides will proportionally follow this standard measurement chart. Please evaluate the style's "fit Points" and order accordingly.
If you are ordering a ball gown with a full skirt or a full a-line skirt , your hip measurements are not important. Most gowns in our shop are a lace up corset style, allowing you to take a size smaller or bigger and simple adjusting the torso by tightening or loosening the straps of the corset.
Order made2measure: All the dresses in our shop can be made to measure. If none of our standard size chart suits you, please fill in our measurement form and send it back to us. We will make the dress for you according to your measurement data. We do not charge extra for size customize. |

| Bust |
Not your bra size! Take the tape around your back and bring it across the fullest part of your bust. Your arms should be relaxed, down at your sides. You must wear a bra when taking this measurement. |
Under Bust |
Measure around Under Your Bust.Take the tape around your back and bring it across the part under your bust. You must wear a bra when taking this measurement. |

| Upper Bust |
Measure around the highest part of your chest directly under the arms. |
Around Belly |
Measure around the fullest part of your belly keeping the tape measure a little loose for comfort. |

| Waist |
This is the smallest part of your waist. Typically it`s an inch or so above your belly button. Also known as the natural waistline. |
Hips |
This is the widest part of your hips, across the hipbone. Measurement is taken approximately 7 inches below the natural waistline. This measurement is not needed for full gowns. |

| Hollow to Hem |
This is the length from your hollow (located at the bottom of your neck,the indentation between your two collar bones) to your heels. (Take the tape from your front, with bare foot ). You should stand upright and your feet should keep together. |
Tall |
The total height without any shoes, it is measured from your feet to the top of your head. |

Measure your shoulder width from one should bone to the other shoulder bone alone the back. |
Shoulder To Apex |
Measure from the top of your shoulder to the nipple.Follow the contour of your body. |

Measure from Top of the Shoulder through the Nipple to Waist. |
Shoulder to Hips |
Measure from Top of the Shoulder through the Nipple to Hips. |

Measures the width from nipple to nipple. |

Measure around the Widest Part of Your Arm. |

| Heel of Bridal Shoes |
The height of the heel to be wore with the dress. |
