Shipping Info

There are special UK export rules for sales of telescopic scopes over 4x maximum magnification. You are very welcome to buy but we have to apply for export permission before the product can be shipped. Export licenses must be applied for PER sale and take 1-3 weeks to be approved.

Some but not all our scopes are open for international purchase but not all at this time. Contact us if you wish to buy a scope but the eBay system will not let you.

For over 4x scopes the process is like this:

Shipping:- Europe £20, rest of world £25 - costs reflect the admin time needed to apply for export license.

1) Use the "Buy Now" button or if you cannot email and we can send you an invoice. Because of the time involved, sorry I cannot consider any offers unless it is for more than 1. More than 1 = 5% off the total.

2) Add the postage (£20 Europe or £25 rest of world) or request a total if you are not able to do this.

3) Please add your phone number to your checkout details, this is needed for the form and also good for delivery people to have.

4) I email the export agreement to you to sign.

5) You sign it. Scan it. Email it back.

6) I apply for the export permission. This takes 1-3 weeks.

7) When approved (and it is mostly just a formality it seems) we ship your order.

Not all countries can use Buy Now. If you can't email me for details as we will need to check if it is OK to send.

If you live in a country where there are import restrictions on scopes like this or is subject to UK or UN sanctions then it will not be possible to do business as the export license will be declined for certain. If you are unsure on this and we can check. (Europe, USA, Canada, Australia = no problem) Note that we do have to declare correct product values so you may be liable for import duty. With these we can't do the "gift and $20 thing" ;)

We can ship you up to 4x: 4x20, 4x32, 4x40 and 1-4x24 as well as red dots and lights. It is your responsibility to check that your country allows the import of such products.

UK Shipping

1st class standard post.
This is offered on some lower value and/or smaller products. A proof of postage is taken at dispatch which, despite the fact that this method is not insured does allow for product resend if it has not been delivered after 1 month.

1st class post recorded.
This is the normal method for most items. It is insured and you sign for it on delivery. Allow 1-3 days for delivery from date of dispatch. In the event of non-delivery items can be resent after 14 working days. Recorded post CANNOT be location tracked while in transit. Only Special Delivery or Tracked Parcels can be tracked.

Royal Mail Special Delivery
Fast, insured, sign for and in transit location trackable. Delivery is Monday-Friday by 1pm midday after day of dispatch. Saturday Special Delivery is £3.80 more. If this is required please request by contacting us by email if you buy any time after mid morning Thursday and want Special Delivery for the weekend..

Parcelforce 24 and 48 aka Royal Mail Tracked Parcels
"RMT" is an option with some products. Next day and 1-2 day day options and as reliable as Special Delivery but much more economical for higher weight packages which makes it ideal for 2+ item orders as there is no additional shipping cost. It is also insured and track-able service and offer Monday-Saturday delivery.

Collection in person
All products are held by a 3rd party logistic company in a secure warehouse with no customer frint office so sorry, it is not possible to offer a call and collect service.

Non UK

We ship globally but please note the special rules for scopes over 4x power.

Standard airmail -
Offered on some smaller and lower value items where the risk of loss or theft is low. There is still some risk with this method but we do take a proof of postage so that if it does not arrive it can be sent again after 45 days. If you have any doubt over your national or local post network it is best NOT to select standard airmail. In many products this option is not offered.

Royal Mail Signed For insured airmail.
This is very reliable and much cheaper than services like UPS, DHL or FedEx though packages normally cannot be exact location tracked apart from being able to see if it has arrived in your country.

In some cases you may need to pick up at your local post depot or shop.

Your eBay record and item dispatched email will have the postage receipt code that can be used on www.royalmail.co.uk and your national post service tracking website to find out if it is in your country - in some countries you may also get location tracking through your own post service but this does vary by country. I cannot advise on specific postal services. In the rare event of an item going missing it can be resent after 1 month.

Other non UK Shipping options
Airmail is limited to packages of 2kg wight maximum. If your order goes over this we may send it by parcel courier instead. The cost of this is worked into the additional item prices that are quoted.
