General Information. Please read before bidding.
Source of Items. Most of our auction items come from one of two sources. We belong to a barter circle where we can trade time, advantageously, for other members’ goods. We also buy house clearance, shop liquidation and collectors’ items for research and resale. We are not experts in most of the things we offer from this source and we quite accept that there will be some items that we have great hopes for that are nearly worthless! Equally there will be some superb bargains amongst them for which we completely underestimate their worth! So bookmark us and keep looking! We promise that we shall always strive to describe everything with complete honesty.
Buyer's Address Verification. Sadly, not all buyers are honest and we have had a couple of expensive and unpleasant episodes, mainly with overseas buyers whose Paypal payments have "bounced" or similar. Therefore I hope buyers will not be offended if we ask:
for some form of proof of delivery address, such as a faxed copy of a household service bill or ID card.
Guarantee. Occasionally we get it wrong, we are only human. When we do we readily refund. But we will not be taken advantage of, so play fair with us and we will play fair with you. Above all, PLEASE contact us FIRST, the moment you have ANY concerns, to give us the chance to help you and sort things out to your satisfaction.
Feedback. If any buyer is unhappy with any aspect of his or her purchase, or the service we have provided, we urge him or her to talk to us before leaving feedback, in accordance with eBay's feedback rules. We shall strive to resolve any unhappiness to the buyer's satisfaction.
Non Payment. We do not believe in rigid rules regarding payment within a set number of days as we recognise that occasionally life's events mean unexpected changes in priorities and eBay can be forgotten for a while. However, repeated failure to acknowledge reminders by any buyer who is continuing other eBay activities will lead quickly to a non payment dispute being opened.
